Today, I've got a step by step tutorial to show you how to make your own planner stickers in Canva.
This tutorial is #1 in a series to share with you my process for making all sorts of fun decorative elements in Canva.
In this video, we're focusing on functional boxes. We're going to create them, change the sizes, change the colors and add some decor.
**Note: The ability to download a transparent png is now only included in the paid version sadly. No idea when that changed

Here are the measurements for all the boxes:
Skinny: 1.5x.5
Quarter: 1.5x.7
Third: 1.5x1.2
Half: 1.5x1.5
Vertical: 1.5x2.5

I also have canva Pro and I make planner sets with template I bought on Etsy. I didn't know you can add an image on there and then choose the color and then make your box that color that is amazing!! 😄

You're a brave soul.. lol. I tried a mini vertical and NOPE. not enough room. lol. I love the mini dashboard though. Assuming you're talking about a mini dashboard... classic vertical boxes work well in the mini dashboard on the left side. They're a bit big on the right but they may still work if it's on the outside row. BUT... any sticker will work in any planner. You just get creative.

Yes.. I use the 1.5 square boxes in my dashboard all the time. They're a great size.

How do you make the boxes with the date square cut out?
Those are a bit more involved... there is a tutorial coming soon.. If you've not subscribed and turned on the notification bell.. make sure ya do so you don't miss it.
Is there another way todo sizes cos it’s still not working for me even on laptop I’m trying to do sizes and it’s tiny
Are you referring to the box sizes? Or the the document size?
If you're on your laptop, it should show the box sizes as you drag. If it's not showing on your side, I'm not sure why it isn't.

What printer did you use at the time?
I still use the same printer. It is the Hp Officejet 8720 amzn.to/3wlM2Bo
I've had it since 2018 and haven't had any problems with it. The printer ink is reasonable too. I grab all my ink for it at Costco.
