Ron..This is how this car should of been since it debut the first year of the Ghibli. This car would of been a hit!!!! What a beautiful car!!!!! Outstanding!!!!!
I cant argue with you there, this Ghibli is so special and would have loved to see this with the launch in 2014. People would has respected it so much more!
Agree as well having lived thru a 2015. The 2018 was improved. This is just beautiful… sounds like a beast but feels like you’re driving on glass the ride is so smooth. Love at first site lol❤️🖤❤️
This fantastic piece of machinery will be one of the last real collector’s cars in the future. I am also so missing those soft close doors in my Ghibli 😀
A Trofeo specific steering wheel with a flat bottom and maybe a passenger side display showing RPM, speed, other info like Ferrari does would be nice additions.
Im gonna try to see if I can possibly to that. I did do a video showing images of whats inside but have never done an unboxing myself since it was meant for the customers.
In my Opinion, 1. The Maserati Badge on the Hood should've been Black and Red, NOT Silver and Blue to Match the Theme of the Car which could've been an UpCharge option. 2. They could've done a Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel OR a Carbon Fiber, Flat Bottom Steering Wheel with a LED REV Meter in the Top of the Steering Wheel that you could possibly have it turn ON / OFF based on the DRIVE MODE your in. REV Meter ON in SPORT / CORSA Mode but OFF in Regular / Economy / Comfort Mode so that you still have the "Luxury" effect in the Quieter Modes. 3. I don't feel the Ghibli is Long Enough. It needs to be a bit Longer. 4. I felt the Red Accent in the Trident by the Back Door was EXCELLENT!!! That's how they should've originally done it. I didn't care for the little "Red Line" that was raised through the bottom! It just looked out of place. 5. I don't particularly like the "Trofeo" badging so high up.....I feel like that should be an option as well for placement. 6. There also needs to be like a "Trofeo Super Veloce" Package which MAXES OUT that 580 Hp where it's TUNED for MAXIMUM Performance without sacrificing or degrading Fuel Economy. I feel like they can get 600(+) HP out of that setup, possibly even 700 (+) HP and change some things to increase the Fuel Economy. That Package needs to come with ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES, as well as Choice of Specs. Basically, like a Special Order Ferrari. It gives the customer a UNIQUE experience. I always felt like the Maseratis were LACKING to say the least, meanwhile charging hella money for a seemingly lackluster car. 7. I'm glad they finally brought back the V8 in the Trofeo. 8. They definitely need POWER Fold Down 60/40 Rear Seats. 9. A Panoramic Sun Roof would be Nice if that could be feasible and maintain Body Rigidity without sacrificing Safety. 10. LED Fog Lights 11. The Trunk should've been POWER actuated. 12. Infotainment system could be bigger, like 12 to 14 inches. 13. It needs hidden access to charging ports for the Rear, but possibly as an option because it might detract from the value of the car. It could have Wireless Charging in the rear Cupholder/Armrest while down. 14. A Complete Digital Dash...possibly. A Large One, but it has to be done in Good Taste. 15. Colored Stitching in the Seats, An UpCharge Option. Example: Red Seats with Black Stitching. These are just some of my ideas. At the End Of The Day, It's a Maserati!!!!
The name Trophy in Italian sounds like a brand of ice-cream to me... but luckily the car looks and screams like the devil! For me that is a classic Maserati move. 🔥😈🏆
Since you asked, with a car this expensive, there is ZERO reason to not configure it with the stitched heardrests and a carbon fiber steering wheel. Surprised to see the "piano black" interior trim given the CF touches on the exterior. I have CF interior in my Zenga Edition Ghibli S (not steering wheel though unfortunately)… it ought to be here on this otherwise exquisite car.
Ron i just saw a video posted by Boardwalk Maserati in Plano, Tx near Dallas. The video was of a new Quattroporte Trofeo Fuoriserie in Blu Inchiostro with nero interior. That was 1 sharp car, and that paint color was off the charts beautiful. I think that is the Quattroporte i would go for. I am guessing the price must have been north of 150k.
Sometimes less is more bro , I like the car the way it is. I like how they didn’t change the tachometer to digital they kept it old school.

Couldn't agree more!

Very thorough review 👌
Thanks for this awesome video!
I want this car bad asf but my priorities are aligned. I have to get the garage and heated floors first😉
Great job. Exceptionally well done. Love the car and especially the engine sound WOW!
Whats the last year ferrari is working with maserati? I wanna buy a trofeo in the last year of production for the trofeo ghibli
This is The End.
will it beat a QV??
The Straight Pipes test drove the Ghibli Trofeo. The car is baller AF.
Its truly an amazing machine!

Um no. More screens is just more stuff that will break. The passenger does not give s hit about the RPM's.
I already saw this car at the mall in McAllen Texas!
It would be cool to see a video showing what's inside the bag in the truck with the model.
Im gonna try to see if I can possibly to that. I did do a video showing images of whats inside but have never done an unboxing myself since it was meant for the customers.
Good explanation good job !!!

Amazing video!
You are too kind, thank you!
I would love to see heads up display and a panoramic sunroof
Hey Ron --- Always An Excellent Job! Maz & Alfisti Need To Finance Your Automotive Endeavors... I'm buying that TROFEO GHIBLI in Cal.
I wish! Im trying to contact them to get a hold of the new Grecale! And you are?!?! Amazing and congrats! What spec you picking up?!
In corsa the dampers get harder not softer
The name Trophy in Italian sounds like a brand of ice-cream to me... but luckily the car looks and screams like the devil!
For me that is a classic Maserati move. 🔥😈🏆
Change that title....... awesome car! That would scare me if it were in my rear view mirror!
Haha true story!

What other colors it comes in beautiful ride 😍
Sick car !
Awesome car
Nice car Ron, i would pay the extra to get the embroidered trident headrests.
I would too! it just looks so much more premium!
@@RonsRides , yes it does. It pops much better.
Whats the horse power on it ?
580 hp V8 Ferrari
Car and Driver got the Trofeo to go 0-60 in 3.7
Number one maserati
Fantastic car. Love to drive one.
this video is really true
instead of flooring this im just gonna bring the pedals forward
Wow now that's a car. 100%
to be very honest,...If Maserati takes away the ENGINE WARNING light, they would sell more.

That is SIIIIIIICK!
Nice looking car, turbos always kill the sound though...in my opinion!!!
That's a fact but comparing to other stock turbocharged V8s, this is the best one
@@andrelima5124 True! I push the Granturismo, naturally aspirated V-8...a whole other beast!
Now with that said...
I thought the MC12 was the fastest Maserati still?
The 16 dislikes must be Germanic fans 👎🏻
Australia get 70,000 Worth of taxes on the trofeo
Super, too much Red inside etc. thanks, ;-)
This looks like the devil!
Oops first / unless you were trying to throw us off🤔
Alfa Romeo Giulia and Ghiblli are same car basicly
Not even close. Drive each one for more than a few minutes and you will feel and hear the difference.
Je voulais écrire en polonais Eh bien, mais d'une manière ou d'une autre, je ne peux pas vraiment le faire
Would you buy another Maserati?
Love the looks of Maseratis but they so many problems and depreciates waaay faster than other competitors
