Very nice reel sir!! Question for you I’m still getting use to shimano. The inner breaking system if the breaks are down that means there on ? If the breaks are up that means there off? I been doing the 3 on 3 off sir. So more of the breaks I take off the further it goes?
I’ve had the reel for a year and I can tell you that’s it’s flawless , big improvement over the 18. Btw it’s a 21 Antares.

DIGITAKA customer service fail! Ordered Shimano DC Antares and they shipped me the wrong product (varivas line and gamakatsu hooks!!!!!) WTF?????

What weight range of lures would you say the 21 Antares DC is capable of casting? Possible to cast 1/8 or 3/16 on the low end?
I think 3/16 would be the lowest with correct line.
The surface on both reels scratch very easy is the only reason I past on them. I fish most of the time in saltwater.
What Old 18 rod are you going to pair that with? Digitaka is also carrying some new Shimano braid. I really like alot. Shimano pitbull 8
I’m going to use the Old 18 Medium Light Suppressor rod. That’s going to be a killer combo.

You should compare the two on the water , even though one is dc the other isn’t.
Both are DC.
@@RXAngler I thought the 21 Antares dc was the only dc in that size. The Antares 19 looks very similar
The 19 Antares 70hg or 100 model from japan is not a dc model, the only other dc model besides the Antares 21 is the monster drive .
@RX Angler the 19 isn't a DC reel and the 21 did not replace it, the 19 is the smaller more finesse non DC Antares.
Get back out there and set it right with them damn otters and stop playing with reels
