Yup! I caught my PB on that very lure in stained water over submerged logs/branches. It’s also deadly in spotted bass lakes paired with a red trailer hook!
I’ve never found myself reaching for white and chartreuse naturally. I usually go for a white or similar or a bluegill pattern. Golden shiner is also a great one for me.
With clear water vis of 4-5 feet, you say you want wind and clouds or you recommend this with 1-2 feet visibility for stained water. What if you have routine weather in 3-4 feet visibility? It was sort of a gap in your remark. Thks.
@@tonyb-50Who needs luck when you have skill. Honestly, subtle color variations aren't that important most of the time unless you're fishing really clear water.
@@timmarkowicz779 i usually fish 4’ clear or less. Never caught 1 on any sexy shad color bait, for 15 years since KVD came out with it 🤷♂️ And I’ve bought them all 😂
@@timmarkowicz779 I believe you. It’s like the most popular color scheme, I think. It’s the opposite of confidence color scheme for me, 😂 I even picked up the old shadalicous swim bait last week in that color- skunked the day 😂
Just watched your video on the youtube algorithm. I think this video isn't doing well because of the title. Something more eye catching and simple and some cool thumbnails would go along way.
Great color combo! Number one!

The only color better than that is chartreuse sexy shad!
I’ve had no luck on the sexy shad, in any bait. 🤷♂️

@tonyb-50 That's crazy, I catch largemouth, smallmouth and pike on them all the time, in lakes and rivers.
