- Onu-koro under attack! With the dangerous Galok threatening to flood the underground city, the evacuation begins... But can all of the villagers escape?
A translation of Templar Studio's Bohrok Animations into 3d, with a little extra embellishment.
The rest of the series will be coming, but it is quite a lot of work and not my main priority right now.
Commonly asked questions:
"Why did you keep XYZ? You could've made it like this."
-These are direct translations from the Bohrok Animations, and I'll be keeping the inconsistencies of the originals. Including wrong masks, spellings, etc.
"Why no voice acting?"
-I have some plans involving VO, just not in the individual episodes.

Would have loved to see Onua with his golden kanohi, but the sound design and animation when he walks or uses his claws is just astounding!!!
Yeah that's my bad, completely forgot that he should've had that until after I published the video lol.
Although in MNOG lore, the toa can switch to and from their gold kanohi. So I don't mind it all that much.
Your animations depict these Matoran's character really well!

I agree. Wasn't a fan of the weird mask-faces and how they didn't even resemble the sets.
@combativeThinker the Mask faces in the movies felt like a lazy approach.
You don't need to have articulated faces to express.
Wall-E shows us that easily.
Having the original soundtrack and sound effects make it just as great.
Nuparu building the Boxer out of a Bohrok is a little morbid in retrospect, given information revealed later in the story.

Loved seeing how long it was and knowing to expect some extra scenes--what you added was great! It might have just been the moodier lighting, but your lighting and materials looked especially nice in this episode. Keep up the good work, I am always thrilled to see you upload!
I like how you extend these a little, nice job. Given how short the originals were, it adds more to the action and makes the transitions a little smoother.
omg! this is so sick! waited so long! haha the boxer movement and sound reminds me a lot of the district 9 exosuit. and the bonus scene.... even more epic! i liked the hint of continuation where Nuparu does go to Le-koro to help fight there with Takua, Kongu and Tamaru

I think you'd be capable of continuing this story in your animations as there was not enough stories presented in original clips. When you compare it to the 2001 story from MNOG, the 2002/2003 story feels rushed.

What always confused me about this episode is that Nuparu SHOULD'VE seen Onepu. Onu-Matoran have limited dark-vision, don't They? So They really shouldn't need Lightstone there
Sure, but personally I've always thought it was because they still need time for their eyes to adjust, so it would've taken a while to kick in.
They still need SOME light. A cat's night vision doesn't function in total darkness, as it works by reflecting light multiple times inside the eye itself, like a long-exposure lens on a camera.
