Love small parks with character! Looks like a fun time. Great work!
yeah us too. The big boys are fun too, but there really is something about the smaller and more classic parks. I get a nostalgic feel when I'm there.
@@FullTimeCoasterTour Loving a half hour away, I love Seabreeze. It is very well maintained. You can tell, the owners care about it.
I'm only seeing this now. I live in Rochester NY about 1 mile from Seabreeze. I have a 6 month old daughter and a 3 year old daughter, we have a family pass to go. My 3 year old loves it. With the water park included as well it's just a fantastic local park. Glad you enjoyed it!
Classy - good to see a successful family owned park in these days of mega corporate estates and a great review as always.
I could not agree more. It's a rarity these days and I love stumbling on these types of places. Especially when they are well run which Seabreeze absolutely is. It was a great time.
I'll take a small family run park any day over those huge impersonal warehouses known as theme parks.
I've been to this park several times it's very fun
Nice. It was our fist time and we had a blast. I love parks that seem to care about what they'e doing. Seabreeze absolutely does that.
GB this was super nostalgic for me. Grew up going to this park every summer and didn't realize all the historical significance behind it.
Thats awesome man. I appreciate ya watching it and I'm happy that it stirred something positive within. That's just the best!
Excellent footage ❤️❤️❤️💕💕💕👍👍😆😆😇😇😇
Cool history surrounding that park. Nice!
Thanks Jeff. I love that stuff. It's 1/2 the reason I love Amusement parks. The history of it all. Sack Exchange on Twitter is sort of a Ciney Island historian. He took us on a tour through the ages around that place. It was amazing!
@@FullTimeCoasterTour Awesome man. SE is doing some cool things for the NYJ fanbase and seems like an awesome guy. His tour must have been cool. I had family connections that lived near there before the amusement park. Some of my ancestors fled NE (... because they hated the Pats... haha!) because of religious persecution, and settled in Gravesend, LI in the 1600's and eventually came to NJ.
The Wurlitzer 165 organ was destroyed by fire in 1994, the organ seen today was rebuilt by Verbeeck to replicate the original organ, still uses the Wurly 165 rolls.
I've been to Niagara Falls many times and didn't know about this park. I had a similar story with my son not wanting to do a coaster that flipped you until my brother in law shamed my son into going on one at Busch Gardens in Tampa. He loved it and lost his fear and got his little sister to do one also. Now there are very few they won't do.
Ahhhh the old shame them trick. lol
I tried that At busch Gardens with my son one time. 4 of his friends were there and I thought for sure I could embarrass him to get on the looper. He couldn't give a single sh*t. lol
he was like "I don't care. I'm not going on it! " hahaha
I had to commend the kid. I would have caved in 2 min.
@@FullTimeCoasterTour Well that hard-headed teen bean shell eventually softens and they learn to love it.
I love Seabreeze. It may not have a standout coaster (it would if Jack Rabbit didn't run the light Morgan trains that go through the elements slower) but it is super charming.
Agreed. I thought the Bobsleds were great too. A coaster Enthusiast might find them underwhelming but I love coasters with charm and uniqueness. In these days of so many clones or models that are 90% the same, it's special when we can find a coaster that has stood the test of time and offers a totally different experience.
I look at that one like the coaster out in Salem Oregon the Ice Mountain bobsled. It's such a unique and fun ride. I loved both of those guys. 😄
Thanks for the comment. We're about to do a follow up with BGW and our First Kings Dominion in a few years. I might even get on Jersey Devil this weekend. nice way to close out the season.
@@FullTimeCoasterTour I'm hoping to get on Jersey Devil this year. It'll take signifigant planning but I believe I could make it my 250th credit if I went to Great Adventure now (I definately could if I did a Great Adventure/Sesame Place combo trip).
Great video! TeenBean is down for anything now! Love it. This is making me want to go to an amusement park so bad!
He's a boss now man. He did pull back from the 420 ft Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point, but the 300 footer was without hesitation. He's growing up so fast 😩😩😩😩😩
@@FullTimeCoasterTour The 9th graders I taught in my first few years as a teacher are married with kids. It feels like yesterday they were terrified at their first day of High School. And I see it all unfold on Facebook, it’s insane. Soon we will be recording Jets content from a nursing home. 😂
it seems the Niagara Falls area have quite a few amusement parks! i guess that makes sense considered its one of the most popular tourist areas! i have distant family out there so I been there a few times. I been to Darien Lake and Fantasy Island but I have been to Seebreeze yet. its also been years since I was in that area.
For sure. It makes perfect sense to have some park options around that area. The sad part is Fantasy Island closed forever last year. Such a bummer. I've wanted to get there for some time. We drove by it. The coasters and Ferris wheel are still sitting there abandoned. 😩
SeaBreeze is a really fun smaller ad family owned park. They were absolute sweethearts and take immaculate care of the place.
You can save a few bucks by using the code GreenBean when you purchase a ticket should you go there. 😄😄
@@FullTimeCoasterTour aww thats same Fantasy Island closed....why did it close? i guess it didnt get a happy ending like Indiana beach did...
@@stormgirl09 Sadly it didn't. Same company owned both of them actually. One was saved so i guess we can be grateful for that. That guy just saved Clementon Park in NJ too.
That company that closed Indiana Beach and Fantasy Island also closed the only coaster in South Florida a few years back too. It broke muy heart. The Dania beach Hurricane. (there are vids of it on UA-cam) A truly special woody that had so much air time and forces. I've been on it 50x or so and almost every single time it ended with the entire train laughing. It always struck me. The just closed it, and the surrounding go cart/mini golf/ arcade park for yet another outdoor Florida shopping mall. Terrible. 😩
I was so happy Indiana Beach was saved. It has the last JetStar model Schwarzkopf in north America. (Tig'rr) That model was my first coaster ever and I wanted to take my kids on it so badly. I was able to do just that about a month and 1/2 ago. It brought me to tears. I'm making a special vid on that experience shortly. I hope you'll watch it and that I'm able to capture my feelings within the vid. We'll see lol
@@FullTimeCoasterTour yea thats a shame the closed down Fantasy Island. I went there once in 2004.
As for the south Florida coaster thats a shame and to replace it with some kids birthday party type place? well thats lame! I mean those arcade places are fun for a night and all but they will never beat a real amusement park!
Yea i am happy IB was saved too even though I only went there once. Id like to go again one day.
First
I go there at least once a year because it is local
Very cool local park ya got there. We sincerely loved it!
GB great video I gotta ask, have u been to Six Flags discovery kingdom in Vallejo (SF Bay Area) of Northern California? If so what did u ride and what did u think? That park is just an hour from me by car. If u have not gone I highly recommend Medusa
I have not been to any of the CA parks except the Santa Monica Pier. That's actually our summer plan as it stands now, but CA may make it difficult for travelers again and I may have to alter the plans. CA is the last BIG boy as fas as Theme parks go for us. I'm dying to get to Magic Mountain, Disneyland, California's Great America, Sea world San Diego and Discovery Kingdom. It's been on the horizon for me since I was a kid. Ever Since KISS made that movie at Magic Mountain lol
If make sure everyone knows when Im there if we make it. 😄
@@FullTimeCoasterTour Hell yeah. Sounds good brother
