Took my kids to knobles yesterday. First time at a theme park. Their first roller coaster was Impulse. 2 out 3 of my kids passed out LOL. They begged to go on it, by the time the ride stopped all three were crying. But they LOVED the wooden coasters!
My 4 year old niece went on Bubbles the Dragon at Storybook Land as her first coaster. But she's an adrenaline junkie like me so I'm slowly getting her on more rides as she gets tall enough to for on them.
Kids never know what the G forces feel like in ur stomach so in their mind their like “WHAT IS THIS FUNNY FEELING IN MY STOMACH GAAHAHHAGHGGGGG” This is speaking from experience
I love this! My first big coaster is right next door - Gemini. It was probably around 1982 (before Magnum), and I think I had that same look on the first drop. This is an awesome dad-son memory to enjoy for life. Thanks for sharing.

Told him screaming helps the stomach drop feeling. Once he tried it, he loved it but is still more apprehensive about the bigger coasters. I was 10 before i was forced on a coaster and 20 something before i actually liked them. These kids are brave!

@@uriiahhhh thanks I have been on it and it was really fun. It is called rampage at alabama splash adventure. You you should look it up on youtube. A 102 foot drop and it goes 56 miles per hour. I know slower than most people ride but it was my first roller coaster and IT WAS SO FUN!
I started riding them when I was 5 (I was a tall 5 year old), and I never really found roller coasters scary to me. To me, they were just pure fun. I think that seeing them as scary is more of a psychological thing than them actually being scary. Then again, this kid was at Cedar Point, so I guess that the roller coasters could be more intimidating.
honestly, I would reccomend peoples first rollercoasters being smooth but fast. this made me love rollercoasters for the speed and thrill instead of older/more janky coasters like magnum. although magnum is also a great pick for your first rollercoaster.
Reminds me when I went on the Bugbie Go Round at Alton Towers back in April. It was scary for me but bravely I stayed on it, holding on. So I feel I relate this this boy. I am proud to have been brave and gone on it 😊
My first ever coaster was el loco at circus circus Las Vegas, to this day, that was one of the best decisions I took in my life, I went on it when I was 10 now I’m 14 and will do anything to get on more coasters. Edit: it was canyon blaster I went on, not el loco. But I’m going back for the third time in a week
That pretty much the same way with me, I rode Railblazer at California’s great America once and I’ve never looked back since, now I’ve ridden over 50 all across California

I wouldn’t recommend magnum as a first coaster cause it is a rough and intense ride which may be a tad bit much for new thrill seekers my favorite pick for the best first coaster at cedar point is the blue streak
My first coaster was Blue Streak. Sure, it's a bit jerky and rough, but it's super fun. If you're going to Cedar Point, and have never ridden a coaster before, I personally suggest Iron Dragon. It's very smooth, and it's quite fun. It's a classic.
My first ride was the intimidator at Carowinds and I remember my dad telling me that if I can do this ride I can do all the rides there and heck, I did it. Had my eyes open the entire ride.

This was also my first big coaster, my dad practically dragged me on magnum and I still love magnum to this day.
I wouldn’t recommend magnum as a first coaster cause it is a rough and intense ride which may be a tad bit much for new thrill seekers my favorite pick for the best first coaster at cedar point is the blue streak
My first coaster was Blue Streak. Sure, it's a bit jerky and rough, but it's super fun.
If you're going to Cedar Point, and have never ridden a coaster before, I personally suggest Iron Dragon. It's very smooth, and it's quite fun. It's a classic.
My first ride was the intimidator at Carowinds and I remember my dad telling me that if I can do this ride I can do all the rides there and heck, I did it. Had my eyes open the entire ride.
My first ever roller coaster was DiamondBack at Kings Island, I was so scared, when I got off I wanted to ride it again, I also rode the beast, I was always scared of roller coasters, now I love them!

Poor kid, when his mum just asks you to take care of him you bring him on a roller coaster and scare him to death, though he was very brave and I do think he needed to try it out
