Everybody gets together and goes to one of the national MIL-SIM events and a bunch of people film it. That would be so dope. Admin did a bit of that, but I want to see more.
Hunter was an instructor for a rifle course I took last year. He truly cares about his student's improvement and is a great listener. This leads to him being an incredible teacher. I learned more in that course than any other rifle or pistol course I've taken! Funny to see them shoot the shit and Colton's improvement! Awesome video Admin.
Colton is the real winner here. Dude was willing to shoot with a timer on camera safely. The sad thing is you know someone (outside of this community) will run their mouths while they honestly are at the same place and aren’t even willing to use a timer. Have been mil and LE, I can honestly say shooting USPSA seriously upped my shooting compared to anything I ever got in the professional world where I was required to carry a firearm and may need to use it. All in all though, solid, both have their place

That last one, using the truck between target groups (and the USPSA Officially Sanctioned 'bush'), looked like a great exercise to train accuracy and stamina against time. Looks like fun, too. I've been doing training for 3 decades and YES 1 man house clearing is dangerous. But I always had my sidekick with me. My 8 year old niece. I went up she went low. Never missed a beat. No team is ever perfect but we did what I thought was great. Until she grew up and grew away. That was the one of the saddest days of my life. I had 12 years with her. I hope she hasn't forgotten everything she learned! Shout out to my Turd!!!

As other competition shooting UA-camrs have said before, just the stress of dudes watching dudes or the precense of a timer will change how well you shoot.
I have been preaching shooting competitively to local church security teams for this very reason to no avail. 90% of them don't take me seriously and think it's just a boy's game

absolutely. Timers are brain erasers until you get used to them. When I first started shooting outlaw USPSA matches I'd form a plan of attack for a stage, think I was good to go, soon as the timer beeped it all went out the window. I didn't care who was watching but that dang timer...... Thankfully I'm passed that.
I don't know about getting training scars from competition shooting. I've done force on force training multiple times and never have I found myself going back to competition rules. I can see though where that can be a thought.

Look at how he slaps the trigger rather than riding it, granted it is likely a very light trigger with little movement being a 2011. That gun might not be a good fit for him at all. I don't like 1911 or 2011 pistols, although the 2011 race guns fit a little better. My limited XD 40 4" (very good trigger, magwell, bomar cut FO sights, extended controls) is far more comfortable and faster for me when competing. Recently I used my ruger hunter 6-7/8" 22 pistol to do steel challenge and just dealing with the safety sucked. My 3 gun AR and 9mm PCC are built identical, both with G 3gun triggers and cmore dots but short throw safeties, so the PCC was much easier for steel challenge. I don't own any pieces......but I don't even want to drop my limited gun and scratch up the stainless slide, besides that would be a match DQ if it happened in a competition.

My favorite line in those videos was when Tactical Rob asked Gamer Rob (my brother) what he would do if the situation was real, my Rob said something to the effect " I would run away, back there, and shoot you from where you cant hit me". I always thought that was funny, and also effective.

It's a shame, we can shoot IPSC handgun in most of Europe. There's a very lame version you guys can shoot with a .22 pistol with an extended barrel, and a metal rod attached to the grip. You could shoot IPSC shotgun in the UK though.

Literally in the maze rooms the lights my go off and or people will start screaming , then alarms might start going off .
