- All the information you need to attend Axalp airshow including where to park, the bus and chair lift and where to shoot. All coupled with an awesome set of photos from the show including for the first time the new F35A recently purchased by the Swiss Airforce.

Hotel Recommendation: Wetterhorn Hotel (Takes pets and will help with dog walking if you ask nicely. Lovely staff) Approximately 20 minutes from AXALP drop off car park.

Ni Jason, I´m on your Video. 7:20 with the green jacket walking under the helicopter. This was a great show with the italian F35. Maybe I´ll be there again next year.

Absolute stonking images mate. That shot at 27.40 is phenomenal, although I could have picked about ten. I don't know much about this type of photography, but these look top-drawer!

Earplugs are free, they were at the Ski Lift, and by the Food tent up the top.

I was going to go this year but business got in the way , for sure next year and I'll have my private helicopter fly me to the top.

Fantastic video! Thanks! Question? Is the hike a matter of personal choice? Because I saw people riding a chair lift to the summit in other videos. I can't make that hike, but would love to attend in person someday. FYI, I'm not a photographer, I just want to watch, if that makes a difference.
Thanks for the comment. I'd estimate that the chair lift gets you about half the way up the hill buddy. I'm sure you would see some action from there but obviously the main viewing areas are best. May be worth enquiring, as there are lots of helicopters moving people up before things start. U could perhaps pay to arrive like a rockstar!! Lol
