Don, you are keeping alive some of the best television entertainment from years past in my opinion. Very enjoyable for viewers that were around when these shows were first broadcast and very much a needed relief from the intelligence insulting excrement being broadcast today. Thanks again, and keep the great content coming!
Bonnie is so incredibly funny and quick witted. Thanks for the compilations. I used to love whenever she came on Dave's shows. I loved her mom stories.
Spent about 5 hours watching all 3 parts and now rewatching!!! What an amazing storyteller and a fun/funny guest. She was always great in movies but somehow o see her brilliance now and realize how much the scripts limited her… top notch entertainer!!! Soooooooo underrated. She’s at par with Robin Williams
Seems to me that Bonnie Hunt should have become a bigger "star". Supremely talented, easy on the eyes, but maybe ahead of her time. She straddled the line between stand-up and sketch comedy in an era when neither was really booming, and they never found her quite the right sitcom to best showcase her, let alone make her a household name. Comedy people know her, at least back then they did, but I fear she's largely forgotten now, especially among the younger folk.
I'm in love with Bonnie Hunt. I had no idea she was so delightful. Obviously physically beautiful but, wow, that wit. I could never keep up with her but I like to image a world where I could.
Why isn't she more famous than this???? She is so adorable! 3 greatest Letterman guests: Charles Grodan, Bonnie Hunt,( coincidence I guess) and Terry F'ing Garr!!!!
Because she was typecast as a "cute mom" type. Once an actress is in that box, there's no getting out unless/until she lucks into the "cute grandmom" type.
Thanks so much for compiling, editing, curating and posting this. All your Letterman videos are much appreciated, but this (and its sequels) is one I've been especially waiting for!
@JohnM. She was in alot of successful movies and is respected in the industry. Not a failure. Get some therapy for your insecurity issues, so you can reenter society as a decent, productive human being.
I guess Im asking randomly but does someone know of a way to log back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the account password. I would love any assistance you can give me!
@@reneenordeen9447 I guess some people (who are not worth mentioning) confuse notoriety with success. You & I know Bonnie Hunt has achieved a level of success few celebrities can match. Films that Bonnie has starred in have grossed literally BILLIONS of dollars, and she's been immortalized in the most popular ride at Disneyland as the voice of Sally Carrera. She's just chosen to focus on voiceover work & not do a ton of appearances to support those films- and I don't blame her! If I could make Pixar/Disney level money without having to sit for wardrobe & makeup, waiting around set while they maneuver cameras and lighting for additional shots, worrying about hitting marks, or spending time on the talk show circuit, why would I bother to seek the limelight?
Hey @DonGiller! I threw out a request for a Bonnie Hunt compilation awhile ago. Just wanted to say THANK YOU! Your are a consummate editor! The amount of work you put into these is stunning. Thank you! (PS... don't let the nasty, unintelligent commenters get you down. You're providing a free service! You do a great job! Thanks for it!)

He is so stinkin' rude to Bonnie with his constant interrupting and interjections that he thinks prove how quick and witty he is .... I now understand why Cher thought he'd been described as an anus by previous guests. It was so bad you could see Bonnie's anger and temperature rising to dangerous levels, like she was seriously contemplating walking out on him. I don't enjoy criticizing Letterman like this as I've watched hundreds of hours of his shows over the years. But Bonnie Hunt deserved far better treatment than this, she is so funny and talented .... There! I just had to get that off my chest.
This is great. Been outa the country since 98 but this is my America the one I knew, somehow captured it here on You Tube . Nostalgia like the definition from Mad Men. Thank You.
I'd never heard of Bonnie until she showed up on Letterman talking about that Barbie dollhouse. I laughed my head off. Whenever she was a guest thereafter, I watched. Thanks for putting together this compilation, wonderful comedy during this bleak winter!
Thanks, Don!!!!!! Seeing these gems from the past with Bonnie has kindled very fond memories of her and Dave!!! Terri Garr, Cher, and Julia Roberts with Dave also bring fond memories to mind. Being from Chicago, I bond immediately with Bonnie!!! Nice going!!!
it's funny looking back at all these women that were in their 30s and 40s when I was a kid. didn't think much of them then but now that I'm an adult I have to say Bonnie is very attractive. Her sense of humor definitely helps with that.
These compilations are quite flawless. I watch video daily like everybody, and hover over the quick-forward buttons out of habit, but your videos I just let run! Never have to skip any seconds ever, so seamless and you include everything! The best. Blue ribbon content.
