"Did anything else fall off? I dont think so... thats pretty good!" Words to live by.
haha, thanks for watching Brandon
@@ViceGripGarage
Most popular name in America right now!
"Let's Go, Brandon!"
lol i say that with every car i own
Let’s go Brandon!
As I get older, I have the same problem with my body day to day. When nothing falls off,it's a good day.
As a dad myself, seeing that smile on Bradley’s face as he fired up that Corvette…approved!
When you can provide moments like that for your kids, you know you’re doing something right. Well done Bieri family and thanks for sharing.
Only thing missing was hearing him say "BRING THE THUNDER"!
I cannot agree more. Well said
With how busy and committed you are, I don't know how you find the time to put together such high quality videos. Each one feels personalized, and the editing you do would probably take most of us 72.3.14159 hours just to figure out how to do with enough Google-asking, yet you roll it out for us viewers like each episode is itself a new car you want us to see. It's always a treat.
Exactly!! Man never sleeps!
When you love what you do, and do what you love, you find time to do anything. :)
And the music is great! I always wonder who picks that out 🤷🏻♀️
@@cynthiablake6208 the music is usually my favorite part as well.
Yeah MS-J, I've commented many times on the quality of the uploads by VGG. So good to see you got many here to Reply in agreement.... You said everything and more than I had intended to Comment on... in this case.
p.s.
The ar'tis'tree of these videos is beyond commercial grade AAA.
Whomever is responsible knows how to "suck you in" the draw is intense even hip'knot'tic... So many here comment on how we can be entertained for two hours and catch yourself thinking;
'No, that went too fast, was that really two plus hours?'
So Derek, will you share, who is behind the editing?
Does Jessica get into the mix?
Really top shelf videography.
“Don’t need a helmet cause it’s gonna do a 19 minute run” 😂 I literally laughed out loud haha
I love how the second tire decided to join the party halfway through the burnout!
I think that is when the spider gears friction welded themselves together, HAHA
its the special Maybelock rear end
In japan they throw a few handful of nuts bolts washers what ever is handy in the diff. It's called a japanese suprise. True story. Its JDM.
My daughter & son-in-law’s 54 Chevy 4 door is at 12:19. They have driven it almost 50k miles in the last 6 years. Still has the stovebolt 235 with an S10 5 speed and rear end. Thank for making their day, Derek!
Your second gear burnout shift with Lawsuit was masterful. Not an easy task with a sloppy column mounted gear selector.
Okay, Lawsuit is cool. Here’s something I’m sure everyone would like to see.
Take the motor and transmission out of the wrecked Corvette - put it in Lawsuit!
Ultimate Sleeper!!!
Hell yeah!!!!!
I second that independent rear suspension and trans n all maybe twin turbskies ? I don’t know
Lawsuit brings “run what you brung” to a whole new level. Love it!
A guy hopes that a guy understands how much a guy loves this channel!! I look forward to new videos here almost as much as going to church. Keep em coming Derek, and much appreciation.
I hope you never change. Your channel is so fun to watch w the family. Inspiring and wholesome! Saw ya in Indy - love it!! Cheers, Mark
I tried so hard to get to this event. I am in Florida, Ona, Florida or Limestone, Florida. I closed my bar for two weeks, started out on my 2005 Road glide, heading to Tucson, Arizona to this event. I had nothing but trouble the whole way, ends up electrical problems could never get it figured out. 7 days a bunch of hotels, and i never got out of florida. Left on the side of road for 7 hours in Crestview, Fl. one great man stopped, helped me above and beyond what i don't think anybody else would have done. Anyway needless to say i had no other transportation, tried to fix, with no luck. cost me a fortune and never made it out of Florida. had a few good times, and grateful for those that helped. had to rent a 20' U haul to get back home... i am home( 20 minutes from the Freedom Factory) I enjoy your channel was looking forward to this event, and was going to take in the sites afterwards...! okay i am done whining... It will be something to laugh at in the future. Thanks for your videos...!
Does my heart good seeing derek's channel growing. I found vgg a couple of years ago. Gold content with little subs. Glad his hard work has paid off.
Me too 👍👍
I have a feeling Derek is going places beyond YT.
There was talk about him going mainstream a couple years ago, I like a lot of other viewers were worried that corporate media would just turn him into a brand pusher and change the whole content of the channel. If he does go big on mainstream TV I hope he keeps full control of his show and doesn't change a thing.
@@patkane761 Definitely hope you are right
@@mikehynes6632 Do you have family in NJ? I grew up with a Hynes family on the Jersey shore.
Best day ever is when I see a new VGG Video. Thanks, Derek. You and your family are the best!
That was one of the best times I've had in my life. What's even better, is a guy was just starting to think I should start saving for retirement, and paying off debt, but this show made me realize that would be foolish. I need to start spending money on old junk, and get back in the garage and get my projects done. Btw, it was great getting to meet you and Jessica, (and kids) in person. It has to be a blessing to have your family with, and having as much fun as you are.
Glad there wasnt a tesla guy there
thats the spirit
And Josh with the “went across the country truck” for the tire pop ride-along. Mad respect for that guy and his turbo LS Frankentruck he rescued from the desert.
Looks like fun for the whole family. Just goes to show, it's not what you drive, it's how you drive it!
I had one of them ol 68 c10 6 bangers. 3spd column. No floor boards just big holes, no windshield wipers had to use window open and hold wiper and wipe windshield. Lot of parts flapped in the wind. One day the ol 6 banger bit the dust so I got a pontiac 6 banger at a junk yard. Looked just like the old motor. What a surprise on first ride, that motor lit the tires up like nobodies business, caught rubber in 2nd and 3rd!! I had a blast with my new revived chevy. Drove the hell outta that truck. Radiator always leaked so I had to keep plenty of extra water on hand. One day when I got to work there was no water at all left, popped the hood and the exhaust manifold and pipes were cherry red with plenty of smoke to boot. Refilled it and it ran like nothing ever happened. Another time after many miles(started leaking lots of oil) I decided I would run the shit outta the ol motor till it blew up or froze up, Pedal to the metal all night with my girlfriend, knocking banging and all sorts of good noises. I managed to make it home with smoke and steam bellowing out everywhere. Woke up next day and figured she was pretty well ready for the bone yard. For the hell of it I checked water and oil-ZERO levels, I refilled it and gave the starter a whirl, It started right up and ran like day one. Damn whats with this machine?? So I drove the hell outta it some more, Took it over a pretty good jump one day and that was it, I cracked both frame rails and it was the end of the road for the ol beast.
Hey thanks for stirring up my memories, had a lot of fun in the ol Chevy!!!
GM
You cracked me up drinking water while you’re smoking your tires off!!!
It's so effortless with that high-powered rig, that you don't even need to pay much attention.
A guy gets thirsty making all of that smoke. It’s fine!
Oddly enough I got teary watching this. It may be the cold snacks… but I think it’s because there’s hope in humanity and America!!!
Absolutely love the content and Derek’s attitude towards life, family and friends.
A bit off topic but watching Derek shift that 3 on the tree brought back a memory. My dad had a 1965 Mercury Monterrey Breezeway with a 3 on the tree. We lived in the country on a fairly straight stretch and whenever left, he would wind that thing up for all it had in first. Drove my mother crazy. 😂
This video proves that the car hobby is for all! Everyone with their crappy beaters and not just for the elite expensive custom builds.
WOW! - a Reliant Robin 3-wheeler! A British, insane classic!!
That first gen at around #10.50 looked great! That event looked like a Lotta fun. It's so cool seeing all those clapped out cheap cars instead of the shiny super expensive ones
Days and nights like those, Bradley will remember forever. Awesome Derek, keep it up!
Great to see you out with the whole fam. Those are times they will remember with their mom and dad.
Omg the one liners from your show. My favourite from this episode was “Saskatchewan chrome, two ply!” I’m using them daily haha.
That spicey nickname can from the channel "zip ties and bias plies" 🤣 I haven't called it anything since I first heard him say it a few years back 🤣
As a Saskatchewanian, can confirm.
@@rwdyrory86 yes I watch Peg too. He’s hilarious also. I didn’t make the connection
As an Albertan living close to Saskatchewan, I can confirm that this is exactly what it's called.
The biggest reason I watch is because when I asked a Feller a "need ta knows" and a feller got him a answer. Thankin the VGG, (Derek, Jessica, and the youngins)
I love it. It’s a guitar solo and the burn out. Magic!
Hands down best show a guy can see on the ol innerweb…. Great stuff Derrick. Hope I spelled it wright…. lol
How proud I am to see Tennessee plates on Lawsuit! You and Smith and Wesson moving to Tennessee has made me a happy man, especially since Smith and Wesson is moving to my town!
That was a great show you gave to the crowd. Bradley was so happy to start that Corvette for that guy ,that made his night . Keep up the great work and God Bless you and your family .
sir, i just drove 440 miles to Antlers, Oklahoma and brought home a 1979 GMC Sierra Classic C20. I don''t know why. She is amazing!!! 4 speed granny and 350 v8 two wheel drive long bed. previous owners had painted her and riveted on the trim. there is some rust. she smokes a bit. i have been driving her every day now though.
A Feller appreciates a breakfast VGG more than the honey-get-this-done-or-else-list my better half just gave me. Love my wife so much that she understands a man has his priorities and let me watch before work. Cheers.
Just tell her f@#$ off. Problem solved.
More than a bj?
Is there a tesla plaid there?
I just say " yes dear, your 100% right dear, just working out the best course of action and prioritizing dear " I call it " Wife away ". Do it right and a days work turns into a week, with plenty of cold snacks and the occasional BJ along the way. lol
It’s a give and take. I give her the cards and send her on the way, and she takes away my time lol
So growing up on the outskirts of Nashville our neighbors had a beautiful green 65 step side that they kept in mint condition. Years later, my dad buys this gold 65 step side long bed that looked more like Lawsuit condition-wise. I learned how to drive stick in that thing, and how to force the poor shifter linkage into submission. He even put some old tractor knobby tires on it. It was fine.
After being soaked in the rain twice today its good to get home in the late afternoon dry off and find a new episode of VGG has been uploaded. A feller can unwind now lol.
I love Lawsuit. Dad had a 63 custom cab long bed like it. I remember being under it at the age of 10 with my dad working on it. Very fond memories of these trucks and any wonder they are so close to some of our hearts! Lawsuit is a truck I would love to have and drive daily
I gotta say, I was impressed when you dropped it back down to first and got the posi kicked in. A guy even got it back into 2nd with that posi.
Our man Derek shifts that 3 on the tree like I shift my 1950 Ford with it's original Flathead..
It takes one solid well timed push on the lever!
Cracks me up every time I take off and wind out that old ford and grab a quick 1-2 shift and "chirp"!...all 80hp at work, just for the squawk hitting second gear! Lo-freakingL!!
Yes!! VGG with the fabled Lawsuit! Will a fellur's factree frame repair survive the track? Maybe...no, probably not.
Thank-you VGg putting this up as a feller couldn’t make to see y’all live do to hotwater heater blowing. Hope you return to Tucson again soon.
That was so funny w the guy w the jeep Cherokee. *"Derek- does the ac work?"" **yeah great, holes everywhere" lol
Much respect to Lawsuit! She carried her own. Thanks for the ride along!
Great way to get a Saturday morning off can't wait for more thanks Derek
LMAO when you answered the phone while the burnout smoke was still filling the cab. :D
That's one heck of a way to wake up and start my day wrenching on my sons c10!! Thanks for the inspiration!!
Having picture in picture is real nice for events like this, thanks for drive'n the extra mile.
That was awesome!!! I seen pretty mama and the kiddos there enjoying the festivities as well. Great job Derek! Something that your kids will remember for the rest of their life!
I did this type of thing back in 2006 with my 1976 K10 Stepside. Love your content. BRING THE THUINDER!!! Wish I still had that truck.
I'm a simple guy. I see new Vice Grip episode, I give the feller a thumbs up.
i didn't think the straight 6 was gonna do that..that was amazing especially running it down to the floor and still keep it's cool this is why i watch you!!.
Nice to see a quick glance at Craig’s F-100, those gold moroso valve covers stand out.
What a hoot and holler that was! Turned those Maypops into "prolly will-pops" by the end there...and that 454 Blazer; I think "Jackstand" Jimmy just called; he wants his jet boat motor back. Excellent job, Sir!
I still absolutely love what you do, man. Long live VGG!! 🤘
It was a bit warmish that day and it looked like the 'little humans' were a kinda melty standing under the shade. Also, the announcer kept calling a guy 'John' for some reason as ol' Lawsuit put up that monster number on the strip.
But...attendance did pick up throughout the day and I hope the trip was worth it enough for y'all to come back again next year. We need as much 'normal' as we can get nowadays. Thanks for coming out Derrick and Fam...it was great to shake your hand!
And here a guy moped all night. Friday isn’t the same with no VGG. But now, Saturday is more better!!
Don't ya mean a feller feels much gooder? Either way I agree.
Proud of 'ol Lawsuit, she done good!
Keep killing it VGG 💚🔥
By FAR, the BEST CHANNEL in the entire Universe ❗
A fellers gotta see what he can do to live a life like this.
Happy to see you living the dream derek. Well deserved
That Suburban flat out got it!! First time I have seen one that quick! Great burnout by Lawsiut though!!
I know that sob came out of the hole quick!
That was the first thing that really caught my eye.
I grew up and my family had 2 of them and they weren't fast by any means.
That is a sleeper for sure.
Pushing up on that 1 million subscribers milestone! Keep up the great content!
I love how the captain's side rear wheel joined in on the tire grating towards the end. Merica!
WoW ..... Just melted em down !! Great video Derek !! Throughly entertaining as always !!
A million by Christmas 🎄 for VGG.
Best show on any format by far!
I never buy merch from the begging youtube fellers, not you, I ordered a RatRod tee from A guy & A Gal yesterday. cant wait. yous the best out there!!! Love how the little humans and momma are with, what a great dad.⛽🏁🤣
So I know many other youtubers are going faster, but I doubt anybody else is having more fun. This is definitely my type of event.
Great way to start my day! VGG and coffee
Morning!
@@ViceGripGarage I'm in love with lawsuit! I learned to drive stick shift in a red truck identical, otherwise, inline 6 and all. I was older looking at 14 and drove it all over town, taking my great uncle places because he lost his license and the cops knew him. They pulled us over once but luckily never asked for my license. Those were different times. Thanks for the memory jarring, and thanks for keeping that beauty on the road.
At 6:33 I think the word u we’re looking for is ‘fulfillment’… the fulfillment you get from building your own ride and bringing it to an event and just throwing down and having fun with whatever you have is a blast all in itself!!! Much love vgg fam!!!
i absolutely love lawsuit, Derek you should do a complete overhaul a complete rebuilt and leave the outside of the body as it is i love it
Started watching your show a while back. Absolutely love it. Puts a smile on my face every time. Reminds me a lot of how we grew up fixen on junk. Be great to meet you some time . Really cool stuff keep it going and best of luck to you and your family
What a unit
What a truck!
From rags to a show stopper!!
Nice work Derek. 👍🏼
Ram
Not gonna lie, when I seent ol lawsuit start smokin both tires a fella was impressed. That there is a quality goin ta town rig 👍
I was a bit taken back by the Saskatchewan chrome comment at 3:50! I wasn't expecting a stubble jumper on the show! Nice!
I see Craig made it with his F100. Was hoping you'd chat it up with him
I talked to Craig for a little while. Nice dude.
That blue 68 Charger is about the prettiest thing I ever saw.
That’s a truck you’ll find still on the roads here in Maine. She’s a caddy.
A feller's extremely jealous of the guy who got to give you a ride along for some double poppers, but also really happy to see how proud he was to be given that chance, and he friggin nailed it!
"You're welcome, buddy. I appreciate it, man. It was an honor."
Wholesome dude giving back to someone who has given us all so much. If you read this, stranger, thank you.
Perfect some VGG start my weekend out right Thanks derek.
Loved that burnout! Half way through; Derek takes a sip from his trusty Vault 13 canteen.
Haha - overheard the announcer “a rubber bumper MG, it’s basically worthless” - maybe, but I love my ‘74 rubber bumper MGB! Top down going to town fun.
they aren't worthless here.
This is so awesome . Its what i like , not about the big dollar cars, its about having bucket loads of fun. Years ago i spent big bucks on a 63 Impala, tbh i never enjoyed that car, now i own two classics 63 Impala & 57 Belvedere ,neither cars are restored and average paint. I enjoy them more .
Glad that a feller and he's kin were able to come down here to tucson hope to see y'all next year
Seeing Bradley behind the wheel of that cherry 'vette just got this feller thinkin how much he's grown the last couple years! Wow he's gonna be drivin' soon and I know I'm not the only one who cannot wait to see that! Thanks for sharing with us Derek, we love ya.
Thanks Michael!
The boys are getting good with the camera, nice shots of the cars. Great work.
Yes sir Hoss. Pure joy and bald eagles ..😎🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲 Awesome brother ...
As well as i think i know a fellers lingo, well he still gets suprised and gets a milk shooting nose of a giggle at a fellers commentary. Keep diggin.
You sound 60 years old
nice cross over having a quick hello with Low Buck Garage
Who else is ready to Derek host Vice Grip Drag drag event? Always remember it’s more fun to drive a slow car fast than it is to drive a fast car slow!!
Don't care what they say, Derek. You smoked em!!!
Way to go man!!!
Awesome video!! I love see the entire family involved!!!
"I don't know what it was, but it was terribly slow." Classic, Derek.
You didn't get a time because the sundial was broken
Old girl is impressive for what she is and has been!
Go Lawsuit! Also love the appearance of Low Buck Garage!
Love the strait six stuff, nuthin like a buzzin half dozen
Went to a dirt track in Fremont Ohio maybe 40 years ago. They had a 6 cylinder class, mostly Falcons, Novas and Valiants, and they do buzz!! Completely different sound then a V8.
Burnout was great! Even got both tires going! Doesn't matter if it's slow, driving a slow car fast, is better than driving a fast car slow.
A precise machine of arrow dynamics……no nope but still beautiful like a southern girl with a corn dog in one hand and a beer in the other leaning on the Ferris wheel making it tilt!
I love this content. Guys running shit regular people can afford. This is what racing is all about
