This past week has got a feller wanting to build a drag car to be able to hang out these guys for a week. Seems no matter what happens you’re going to have fun and make lasting memories. Thanks for the great content!!
I have been thoroughly enjoying these past few videos; events like these are awesome because of the road tripping in between and having to deal with what the road throws at you. Makes fellers become extra crafty and inventive. I'm still hoping to be able to go to the US of A once all that travel malarky is sorted out so I can be with my lady and do a big ole route 66 road trip one day, but in the meanwhile, I'll be getting my fix from videos like these, so, thank you very much, mr Bieri, and keep on keeping on! 😊
When a fella gets handed opportunities like this, you just can't say no to them. Fun to see a little bit of the inner workings of a drag and drive event.
Hey Derrek it was fun seeing you in the mix giving us your perspective throughout the series looking forward to your future projects thanks for letting us tag along.
Derrik, 40 years ago I used to ride the chair (passenger on motor bike and sidecar) with my step father, we were good at club level, but factory outfit's and people who were sponsored had a advantage, but just like you guy's if you need anything you got it, freindship went hand in hand with competition . good to see it still goes on, all the best from Sheffield, Englaned
This series of four films has been such an insight into how strong the Hot Rod culture still burns with you guys. Thanks so much for the incredible efforts that go into these videos, house style intact, much appreciated by all your subscribers, and I’m sure I speak for every last one of them. Thanks again Derek
Thank you for taking us along on this trip, Derek! Much fun, and I hope to return to these eventually with my Crown Victoria. She is a running project. I can't race these guys, but, just being there with a Full-size V8, RWD American Sedan; with some improvements! I had to sell my last two cars lol. Fellow Gear-heads are the friendliest, wholesome folks on Earth! Loved the Ice Cream truck with the Hot-dog roller! Much love from London, Ohio!
Thank you for sharing this world it's been very exciting to watch for me.. I'm not up on who's who but it seems like a family affair kind a,, a type of racing culture I've never seen before .. thank you Derek
Thanks for taking us with you on this fun journey! A guy really enjoyed seeing what takes place as an insider and that ice cream truck was awesome too!
As a fella from the UK, holy crap, the sound of those engines makes a guys hairs stand on end, gives a real adrenaline rush just watching from home. Nice to see such team spirit too 👏👏
Awesome racing. Never knew this particular type of drag racing with driving between venues. Tons of fun watching. Unbelievable he was unhappy with 6.7X runs down the track -- really competitive and I can respect that. Hope you do this event next year! Thank you for the long hours showing us the onions.
I must say I've really enjoyed watching the whole series of videos you've done covering this event. The videos where you end up travelling are always very entertaining!!!
The funnest part of this series ,has been watching it on ALL three channels , vicegrip , Cleetus , and Tom’s channel , each with a different perspective on the same event , filming all the same guys. This has been pretty fun Derek. “Big Things ,really big things...!” 🤠🎸🎶🙏🇺🇸🤙
I miss the intro were ur wife was workin on the interior of that car,,, was always so excited that she worked side by side with u on the builds,,, luv ur channel an da vidz man,,,!! Ur the Best outta all i watch,,,,!!!!
I feel like I’m doing Derek proud. Picked up a Honda Rebel that hasn’t been registered since 1995 and trying to get it running. Just today I was able to manually turn the crank bolt and felt some compression in the cylinder. I can see why he does this!
What a blast!! Really appreciate you bringing us along for the ride, I have not been to any of those events before and am not a big race fan but that has me questioning why not? Looks like a blast so I’ll be looking for one near me in the future!! Thank you Derek!!
Great series, even a cliffhanger ending! I've seen that Yellow Chevette near the end of the video at Virginia Motorsports Park in my travels for several events. Thats a cool little hot rod and he drives the snot out of it. 😁
What’s astonishing to me is how docile that car sounds, at the line maybe it’s because I’m a dinosaur but for that ting to tour on its own , then hook up the way it does is most astonishing! Brilliant!!! Much respect to all those mechanics involved!!! Great trip! Regards Mad Mike S. ☃🥶❄…….
With all the amazing people in the race community to help out with the computalaters and know how I definitely foresee a feller running a rig of his own
All the times you sat in the bleechers wishing you could be like the cool guys in the pits and crewing the cars. This video felt like being one of them. Love it.
This is so amazing to see! the incredible machinery, how the car just takes of so strait and so god damn fast. Derek next time you get the chance to come along and do something. say yes and bring us with you!
One of the digiweboshpere shows a guy loves. This has been a blast to watch. Kinda sad it's done. But I suppose there is an old Hudson or an old Plymouth...Cadillac? Sitting out under a bunch of trees that needs saving on. Cant wait to see whats next. I hope someday to shake your hand. Who knows maybe someday I'll be at one of these events. The love and friendship here is beyond beyond. Great stuff. Thanks for taking us along!
Awesome series, Derek! Thanks so much for the quick turn-around! My 2 takeaways: Cook’s heart rate seemed like it never got above 80bpm after running 6’s and that dude that won the car needs to come up with $45,000 to cover the tax bill.😂😂
Hot dog roller was the most reliable piece of equipment on the trip.
I think he should have had the dog roller going while going down the road. That would have been classic!
Don't forget the holder for the Wobble-Pop!
It’s gotta be it’s the most essential
I wish I could still eat hot dogs I would buy one too. Love those suckers.
@@Mikefngarage Can you eat the vegan/vegetarian dogs? I know that they are not the same, but if you are missing them, it might scratch the itch.
I'm honestly loving this little mini series.
And on the 7th day, a fella rested and watched VGG.....
Also give alittle Thanks today for the troops in WW2/ D Day.
DDay ,definitely!
This little series was great!!!! Hope to see something like this again!!!!!

"I JUST WANT TO THANK MY WIFE" for letting me spend all our money on my car.....
LOL you need permission to spend money???
@@ShieldArc200 like it or not everything is half hers. even what she doesnt earn. so yes. but my wife lets me spend all I want too on my cars.
Mike Fn Garage just don’t ever get married 👍🏻
@@Mikefngarage Brave man. I do the same.
Happy wife, happy life! ❤😊
Jessica has been home with the boys all week.
Thank her for us for allowing to do what you do.
Without her none of this would happen.
If it wasn't for Indy it ofc wouldn't even have been close but happy for Jason.
