You know how wood-burning kinda sucks? It's even a little intimidating... That's how we felt when we screwed up a woodworking project with a red-hot soldering iron! We had to find an easier way. After getting inspiration from UA-camrs, the Scorch Marker was created in a woodshop that needed a way to wood-burn with stencils. Since then, Evan and Sarah, the husband and wife who invented the product, have been working tirelessly to grow and improve. We want to make crafting more fun! That's our goal by providing a new, easy, and fun way to add "wood-burning" to your crafting toolkit!

It appears your gun is only an inch or so from the wood. How does one avoid scorching the wood around the design? Thank you.

We recommend holding your heat gun at least 6 inches from your craft. Apply the heat in a sweeping motion, moving continuously to prevent one area of the wood from getting too hot.
For removing these darkened areas, we recommend simply sanding them away. You can see a tutorial for this on our TikTok here:
