But they got too stale and repetitive for awhile, so when Origins and Odyssey came along and revamped the combat and added RPG systems, I thought it was exactly what the franchise needed to keep it fresh and interesting. Granted, Ezio is still the best AC protagonist in my opinion

It’s interesting to see one of the only assassins creeds where your kills actually make sense, bodies dont ragdoll, and your sword strikes dont massively miss the target but still kill them. Honestly what the fuck happened to the series lately?
Assassin's Creed 2 was the best game I've ever played. Anything from the music, missions, characters. Just a brilliant expirience. Too bad what happend to the series in the last few years...
I really loved the world that AC 1-3 set up (both past and present time periods); so sad that Ubisoft has really strayed from the roots of what made Assassins Creed so great😭
I have never heard anyone describe ezio as a character as good as Patrice Desilets, I know he helped invent the character but he has such a brilliant understanding of him
You can tell English wasn’t there first language and I love it - you can also see the youthfulness in this Ubisoft team it’s almost an independent studio vibe
How did they inject this game with such a powerful soul is beyond me. The constellation of creators the music by jasper kid fucking planets aligned. We need a tv show following this plot same music same everything for new generations to watch it we need a TV adaptation!!

Connor Marshall I never got to play the game until now, and I’ve got to say I am really enjoying it, I wish they would remaster the first assassins Creed, you cannot beat the classics.
Just as worthwhile as reading a good book or watching a good movie, we finally got a game series that pushed things to the same level we were getting in other medias! Nowadays it seems like all the AAA game studios put in a fake amount of effort into games that makes all of the new ones feel disengenoius to me... I wish people would make a game again for the story without loosing site of that and turning the game into cool FX, shallow gameplay, and loot crates... *cough cough* (ubisoft, activision, ea, treyarch, infinity ward)
I've just finished Ac2 brotherhood and revelation for the 12 or 13th time. I'm on rathonhnahketon Conor of Ac3. The best ones are fr me Ac2 and Ac4 the black flag just wooonderful
Me I liked The Ezio Trilogy, Black Flag and Origins. P.S I may get hate for this but Origins still feel like an AC games despite the new direction. No offense
Man, AC2 was incredibly divisive. Really enjoyed it the first time around but the more i played it the more disappointed i became with the game. It seemed like it was streamlined for the more casual audience and left the the complexities of AC1. Felt like a Hollywood blockbuster then anything. Which isn't a bad thing but it's not what i expected from a sequel.
Pixel Count I actually really liked it, played through it entirely more than 9 times now. I think it definitely addressed a lot of the repetitiveness issues in AC 1 while keeping core gameplay and improving it. There are a few moments when I wish they would have pushed further, but alas, no video game is so perfect yet...

Ezio Trilogy was so good. Too bad the original creators were pushed away from the franchise. Shame on the company for not supporting the team.

Valhalla is literally the only AC game I dislike. Every other one was interesting throughout

I can’t even decide which Assassin’s Creed game is my favorite. The only ones I don’t really like are Odyssey and Valhalla.
