Love these shorter tutorials. Thank you for sharing your gift
This was a great values lesson! Loved seeing the part about lifting off color with the liner brush! You are just the best!
These mini lessons are so helpful in helping me focus on technique. For the first time, my painting really popped.
I miss the tutorials with you and Michael. Bring em back.
Thank you! I spent an hour on the first one and it was sooooo flat! This lesson helped me see how I can work on value to achieve form. Thanks for always giving us great informative lessons!
One of the clearest examples I’ve seen on how impactful the lifting technique can be to change value, add dimension, and elevate the overall look. Thanks for sharing!
Perfect project for the hot summer. 😊
This was such a helpful tutorial. I loved the tips about creating form on the cone. Thanks Sarah!
This is amazing. I absolutely love seeing the basic painting to a more complex one. I did the 5 minute ice cream as a warm up exercise before a painting session yesterday and it helped me wake up my paint brain.... now I want to paint this one too. Hoping uou might do this for the other short paintings- like the willow tree? Thanks for all you do!
We totally recommend checking out this video if you're looking to take the Willow Tree painting to the next level. ua-cam.com/users/liveQSwKpz9P20w?si=oKMJjMILL91iwDpK
My favorite flavor! Now I really want ice cream 😂
Looks delicious! I had some Baskin Robbin’s ice cream while I watched this video. That cone was too tempting. Now I will paint the ice cream cone. Thank you for making the video.
How fun, we love it! Okay we have something we want you to try if you can find it. Tillamook Mint Chocolate ice cream. SO GOOD!!
LOVE the lifting effect on the cone!
Isn't that so cool how it totally comes alive once you do that?!
so nice ice cream ❤❤❤
Cannot wait to try it.
No oath this time, loved the ice cream though.
I love your style of explaining. Thank you so much. One thing did not went well. The lifting up. Can it be too dry for lifting?
Lifting up works when it's wet. If something dries, you can rewet that area and try to lift up the paint.
I wait all week for these tutorials and I get a silly icecream cone.😂
