Wow, very interesting to watch! 🤩 Amazing Sydney heritage ST. James Trust building, and such a beautiful showroom. You guys must be VIP clients at Cartier! ✨ Can't wait for the next episode! 🔥
Great content as usual guys! I've always been curious on the financing side for watch dealers eg do they use high interest loans or is it all in cash..maybe one for a future episode?
Thanks for watching! Yeah it can be difficult to navigate the dynamic between retail and secondary dealers sometimes. Cartier is usually fantastic though!
Love the videos, please continue to make more! I do have a question, why did you choose to service the Santoses with Cartier directly? Wouldn't that be quite pricey, especially considering you are giving up the warranty as well? Why not an independent watch maker like the ones you use in Hong Kong?
Thanks Julian! Yes we have multiple watchmakers that we use depending on what needs to be done. These watches made sense to go through Cartier as they were running a service promotion at the time 🙂
@@classictimeclub ah I never heard of servicing promotions from Cartier, but that’s really interesting to know. Thanks so much for sharing and looking forward to the next video!
The ones that can be done locally are fast, 3-6 weeks. The ones that need to be sent to Switzerland.. those I’ll be happy if they come back within 6 months haha 😅
@@classictimeclub ah alright, i was wondering. A vintage dealer in germany told me that they service certain vintage models for free which i could not believe tbh
Most of these East Asian dealers sell/buy watches from Hong Kong. They are Frankenstein watches with questionable ownership and provenance. Buyer beware.
Despite your incredibly racist and pea-brain comment, the takeaway is that everyone should be doing proper research and due diligence when buying watches. We authenticate and stand by every watch we sell. Thanks for watching 😊
@@classictimeclub Of course you do lol. You know what Hong Kong dealers mix four real and one fake watch together then copy one of the real watches serial numbers. Double bubble.
Very calm and relax to watch, great contents especially the knowledge on vintage Cartier. Thank you.
Thank you so much! Cartier is a favourite of mine
Love this episode, so fun
Thank you ☺️
Really love the office set up - fan of the channel !
Haha thank you!! It’s just a lot of what I like to collect 😁
Really enjoyed this episode. Love your show room, love the vibe. Amazing ❤
Nice to see your passion for vintage furniture too. Love your taste
Haha it’s a sickness!

Haha Cartier is always very patient with us. If it were any other brand we might be blacklisted 😆
The pendant is so pretty, unique artwork. Love it
It’s a nice one!
Dropping great stuff as usual
Thanks Daryl! We’ll keep improving 💪

Different dealers handle things differently. We prefer to own our stock 🙂 good idea on a video!
I've been eyeing a silver cartier panthere watch in large, I hope one day I can own it.
We can help you with that once you’re ready 🙂🙂
Thanks for sharing, especially the interaction with Cartier. Always wonder how brand deals with second hand watches.

Nice episode! What’s the book for vintage carrier collecting called? Would love to get my hands on one of these.
Thank you! It’s the Cartier Tank book by Franco Cologni
Love your clock collections. They are so cute ❤
Haha I have too many to display 😆

How long does it take to service so many watches through Cartier? 15:18

Does Cartier still service your watch if you don’t want replacement dial?
Hit and miss. You really need to be ultra specific and extra careful
@@classictimeclub good to know
If you buy watches from them, you can effectively achieve two-factor authentication since they both share the same interests.
Great showroom, would you mind telling us what book was that to know more about cartier? Thanks ps I’m waiting for your daily vlogs :)
Thank you! The book is called Cartier: the Tank Watch by Franco Cologni, but it’s the older (better) version
Beautiful pendant 5:58
We can be friends 🥹😆

Thanks guys interesting I’m from NZ also .Also I collect watches cheers.
We both miss NZ so much 🥹
You guys need your own watchmaker 😄
Haha we have multiple watchmakers 😅 though we couldn’t say no to the Cartier service promotion that was running!
What is that new campaign the cartier employee is talking about ?
It was a Cartier service campaign that was running at the time 🙂

Are you guys married? Just found your channel and love it. I live in the U.S. and I'm a huge watch nerd
Bro, you need to learn to negotiate - you actually said that 10.5 is fair and then expect him to take less? 😂😂😂😂😂😂 wtf? - Fun channel, thanks
