Wow! Never would have imagined that an ms67+ 1968 D half dollar would be worth that much! Thats why its a good idea to save most great looking older coins that you find just in case.
Dear j&b this is granddaughter Papa's doing okay but we did not expect an 1968 to be worth so much money now I got to go back and look and see what have a good day and happy hunting Papa's getting better we'll be back soon
I have three Kennedy half dollars 1967,1968, 1971, have held on to them for many years, they are in excellent condition, any comments gratefully appreciated. Thanks a bunch Lou
I can't wait to find my first rainbow Kennedy. Nice 68 D and this coin does seem underrated. I hope you find one tonight. I sent you a Christmas Card, see you tonight. 😀🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄🎅
Wow very cool thank you for your knowledge and expertise I'm 53 years old my son is 5 He is always asking me for coins if you're going to teach your kid a hobby or teach him one that saves money All hobbies cost money collecting coins and currency cost less Great channel my brother thanks again
I will try to find this one. I never expected this to be worth so much. Wow. Would be a financial Blessing for sure. Thank You for sharing this with us ♥️
Hey JBCOINS, I was looking into my jar of coins and saw an odd looking penny. I looked it up and found your video which taught me it was a 2009 presidency. It’s in good condition and I would like to know how I should approach getting it looked at.
😆 now I'm be rooting for %40 more often on live roll hunt!! I think that is so awesome coins can still be found in MS condition after over 50 years! I thought you were going to say it was worth alot more but over $7000.00 is still awesome! Thanks J&B for sharing!
I am so fascinated. My grandfather died in 1984. He had tons and tons of quarters, cigar boxes full of buffalo nickels, pennies, steal pennies, I mean for real I’ve never seen anything like it! My mom is scared to have someone look at the collection because it’s so valuable she doesn’t trust anyone to look at it. Everything was meticulously organized. I soooo wish I knew what his collection is worth. Not necessarily because I would want to sell it, but because I feel like it was his life’s work. Nothing but respect for his passion! My mom and I tried to google things but it’s like going down a rabbit hole. So overwhelming!
I moved into a house and found a old senior's scrap book from 1968 there were 4 Kennedy half silver dollars inside a daughters of the American revolution letter to the senior they were glued to the paper and appear to be perfect 3 are minted in Denver the fourth has glue out so not sure. Since they are perfect minuses the glue could they be worth anything?
Well JB that is really stunning to see that those 68 can be that valuable especially the D oh, you really opened up my eyes I'm going to start checking through my rolls
What what what!?! $7500! Yeah, no, I didn't expect that much for a 68. I'm happy to have them just for silver content, but I believe I was just admiring a nice 68 last week. Now I have to go find it. 😅. Thanks J&B, I really appreciate your videos! 👍
The ‘69D and ‘70D Kennedy’s are already at $5000+ at grade MS67, so either of those in MS68 would probably be at least $15,000, which beats this $7000 for the ‘68D. I’ll be looking for all 3 years.
I did not know how valuable a 1968d Kennedy half could be! I recently bought a 1968 uncirculated set and am waiting for it to arrive! I'll seriously consider having the d half graded after comparing it to the examples in PCGS Photograde. I do not like to break coins out of a cello set though.👍
Did you ever find out about your 1968 D Kennedy half dollar? I have one in mint state never been out of the sleeve it was put into, what is it worth, how can I sell it. It is one beautiful coin and as shiny as a proof coin.
Hi JB, I own a 68 Kennedy half D , encased in a plastic cube which i have never opened .How do I tell what grade it is as I'm sure that it was never circulated.
Did not imagine such a find. Having collected a couple mint sets all ways getting that nice coin with the notorious ding in the field or the gash on the rim. WOW 7k. Sure like to know Did they inherit, find it or just trip over it? All ways ask why keep a surplus of searched coins? Because J&B will come up with something to get you to search one more time. Merry Christmas you two. Stay well stay safe
I bought $500 worth of Kennedy half dollars from Banner Bank end it looked like they were hand rolled and a lot of the rolls look like they've been sorted by date however on the third role in my search I found a 1968 D 40% silver 1/2 dollar
man I just sold a 1968-d on evay 2 months ago. I love your channel. Does anyone know what this error is... I got a whole roll from bank, the have indented dashes all the way around the inside of the edge, in other words if ya came in from the rim about a 1/4" there is a spaced dashed cirlcle. I think it could be cloth stamped into the coin.
Holy stuff did not know that 67+ was the highest grade Denver. Whould expect that with Pilly. Now I have question for you why is it "D" is for the most part better that "P"?
In 1995 I add a handful of Lincoln Pennies where can memorial was pressed through the coin it looks like Lincoln was behind bars Are those pennies worth anything I talked to some people they say no I trust your opinion and your expertise
holy cow thats some dough huh wooot I wish I had some in that condition hehee. I still in it fo the silver so I def didnt expect it to be worth that much
I have a similar 68 half dollar to that 1 but unfortunately its more brownish colored than rainbowed. Do i have something special or no? I can't afford to pay someone to tell me either which sucks!

Also his name was JB...one of 17 kids and he was the youngest...they gave up giving names, so they ended up with initials 😂🤣

A great reason to keep my 1968 Kennedy half's... I only have 2, but one is in pretty good condition and has a good strike to it
What what what!?! $7500! Yeah, no, I didn't expect that much for a 68. I'm happy to have them just for silver content, but I believe I was just admiring a nice 68 last week. Now I have to go find it. 😅. Thanks J&B, I really appreciate your videos! 👍
