Thanks for featuring my footage Rob! Stoked to be using spears built for the toughest fish in Africa...come check out the full story behind these fish in my latest video!
Thank you for sharing 👍
Thanks for another great video Rob! cheers from BC, Canada
Thks Rob .cannt believe how much thought into everything u do .and how u always reconsider which is best and adjust your designs .
We need to keep it real and show what we do. Also, try to prove what we are saying with proper testing. Many thanks for the compliment 👍
Love the thought making the back shark fin lower profile so it can clear the muzzle!
That was my biggest complaint shooting my double roller with the shark fin spears. The last fin would hit the wishbone on exiting. This chaffed the wishbone up much faster and I imagine reduced the smoothness’s of shot and slowed the spear a bit.
Still shot fine but this is much better! Hadn’t seen anyone account for this so glad to see it. Looking forward to getting the new spears!
Thanks for that, we strive to perfect as much as possible.
Great
Hi there rob, wjat advice can you give a person like me. I have been spearing for a year in mostly kelp areas but i want to move to bigger game fish and open reefs. How and what is the best way to perform that transition.
Thank you, your videos is a game changer

PERO PARA CADA PESCADOR SUBMARINO SUPONDRÁ PROS & CONTRAS...
MAS IMPORTANTE ES CONOCER LAS VENTAJAS Y LIMITACIONES PARA QUE EL PESCADOR TOME LA DECISIÓN CORRECTA EN CADA CIRCUNSTANCIA DE PESCA

Please tell us more about the kill bag in the back ground, with pricing.
Thanks
Prices vary depending where you are in the world and, if the countries distributor brings them in. Where are you?
I have found that dyneema loops fray quickly when jammed into mechs. The dyneema seems to fray where it leaves the hole on either side of the shaft.
This can be due to the spear line hole not being polished enough or, sharp edges of the cassette. What spear and cassette are you using?
@@RobAllenSpearfishing - it doesnt fray on inside of the loop but the outside. I have found its due to the loop rubbing against the inside of the mech and the start of the rail. Just a reason I attach the line to the second shark fin.
@@under_jersea What is the handle?
@@RobAllenSpearfishing Ermes mech with a homemade gun. The track is quite deep so attaching the the first shark fin makes the most sense. I was just pointing out another consideration
@@under_jersea This s why we spend a lot of time developing our components to try foresee potential issues. Having the rounded edges in our cassette prevent line wear. End of the day, as you have done, work with what is best for you.
I use the dog house. I don’t really like jamming my shooting line into the cassette every load but it sounded like you don’t feel that is much if any of a drawback. I wonder which configuration has a better flight?
No draw back if the cassette is made to accommodate it and, there are no sharp edges. In your case with a dog house, it will add more drag and maybe change the flight of the spear slightly. We are yet to show a difference in pool testing.
