Cleveland Ohio celebrates St. Patrick's Day as well, and it's pretty big. Not as big as NY or Savannah I'm sure. But it's something we grew up with. Kids were Always taking off school for St. Patrick's Day. I was never allowed.
It not so big where we live now. But I still make it special for our family. I Always make corned beef. I have yet to find a place where they make decent corned beef where I live now. But they make Really good rye bread. So this is a REAL treat for my husband and myself who grew up with really good corned beef.
Love Watching Paula Cook everyday ....She adds such a JOy too my world.......I prefer too see her do the FULL baking ,...it seems lately she starts to frost a cake n then the next clip it goes too the cake being all frosted..I dont want too miss a thing :(
I know..something has changed. My husband noticed this today. I wonder what is going on....we also noticed that they keep asking for people to "like & subscribe." This is typical with other UA-cam people, but not with Paula...she is just our friend in the kitchen, no edits, no revisions, no cuts for the most part. Something has changed here and we hope that we won't lose the candid essence of Paula's story telling kitchen times.
We did a few videos with some coaching but we didn’t like it either. We are back to filming with blunders and stories start to finish. Thanks for letting us know what you like and thanks for watching!!

Love Paula and her cooking and stories. I'm noticing lately that these videos are becoming heavily edited and not as naturally flowing. I personally love the older videos because I felt like I was hanging out in Paula's kitchen right along with her. Now I feel like someone is trying to turn it into a TV show and not the homey feeling videos it once started out as. It's fun to watch the WHOLE process, bloopers stories and all!:) Thats what made these priceless and special. (Well, in my opinion;) Love you Paula!! ❤️ ❤️

I live in a university city here in Canada 🇨🇦 Ontario 🍁 and the kids will party like there’s no tomorrow. They start in the morning with green pancakes and carry on with green beer.

I love your videos. I found them early in the pandemic, and I was on chemo so I had to lay around a lot. You were such a blessing to me during that time. I’m better now, but I still watch your videos. I enjoy the ones started during the pandemic much more than the older ones on the Food Network. I feel like you are being yourself now, more than when on the other network, and you are so loved! I hope you keep on with these videos for a very long time!

I love St Patrick’s Day. I’m Irish through and thorough with Strawberry-Blonde hair, Irish name and born the day after St Patrick’s Day. We always ate leftover corned beef and cabbage. As I got older realized everyone was hungover on my birthday 🤣

What kind of hand mixer do you use ?? Ours low speed is Way to fast, was just looking for something with more than 3 speeds. Just have to watch Paula Dean in the mornings, if I miss it my day is off. Thanks !
It's a 7-speed KitchenAid. I have the same model.

@Jesse Cherney Check Amazon. Not her brand but The Pioneer Woman has a 10" with a glass lid, depending which vender you order from the prices vary from $41.00-$46.00. Another option is Klaskware that is an 11' but no lid which runs $24.99. I don't know about instore but Walmart online has the same thing but at a better price. Hope this helps.

Yes, I thought this mixer wouldn't have the power, but it does. I got mine at QVC. On sale now for $79.99. Most all my small appliances are KitchenAid, and they haven't disappointed yet. Paula would benefit having one, as it's easy to handle and wouldn't scare her as hers does!

Love real Bailey's but being that I drink it daily in my coffee, I started getting the Kirkland (Costco) brand. Is it as good as Bailey's...nope! But at a fraction of the price, the difference in price is more than the difference in taste!
