In Lamelo's ROTY season he made me a Hornets fan, I watched Hornets games just to watch some of the crazy stuff he'd pull, he had no fear and total belief in himself. Man I hope he can get that back, he's so exciting to watch when he's on.

Yes, when your oft injured and missing games while never playing in any legit meaningful games (aka the playoffs) people will tend to forget about you. LaMelo Ball is highly talented but the jury is definitely still out on whether he's a serious centerpiece or key guy you can build a title or even just a playoff contender around.
Lamelo doesn't drink heavily, doesn't do any crazy drugs, shows up to practice, and puts up the points consistently. I'd say with that alone, he'll have a long enough career to leave a legacy.
