This was 9 years ago. They are FULL SHRED Rockers now!
They're kids already have a band
They're not shreders bro
@@rollotomassi4768 good joke ruined by bad grammar
Extremely so!!!!!!!!!!
Shred?
Seven years later they've been invited by Metallica to cover this same song for the 30th anniversary of the Black Album! 🤘
WHOOOP!! That's the best news ever. So hiped for a newer version of this.
HOLY COVER SONGS BATMAN! That's AWESOME!
Oh yeah? Sweet!
when will that be???
They are good
Congratulations to Pau! She was just named "Best Up and Coming Drummer 2023" by Modern Drummer magazine.
Only because she's "new" on the popular scene. It's almost criminal to call somebody that good up and coming, she is HERE.
Simply incredible skill. Between her, Nandi Bushell, and Avery Molek, the future of drumming is looking great for a LONG time to come.
@@ClasteauThanks goofy.
The exact moment when you realize that these girls are The Warning, as in you know, "The Warning" and you think "Yeah, that made sense even 9 years ago."
The drummer is on another level. She's fantastic.
she's off scale for a young kid.
OH bOy listen to yourself. yes she is a young kid at 12. Look now that she is 16 going on 25...….
Better than lars

I hardly knew them when i went to the Lisbon concert beggining of the month and i came out totally a fan. I have been listening to them ever since and i simply cannot stop😅
As a drummer in heavy metal bands for 25 years I can say this very impressive. No just cause they are young kids doing it but because they are just plain good. Rock it young ladies !
Have you seen them now?
Yes but they will always be kids to me even though they are lovely ladies now. I'm 50 so no matter what they are kids to me anyway
Did you notice about 2 minutes in... The drummer got in front of it! Then about 4 minute she's rocking to the tune and absolutely leading
She's very fluid
Can you imagine how proud their father is?
and mom...

No
and broke from lessons and equipment lol
Mia Tessaro I fully understand everything you said. The women in my life are all super moms and Dads make all the bread for the mom to be able to do whatever
In this video, the bassist is 8, the guitarist + Lead Singer is 13 & the drummer is 11.
It's crazy to think how good they all were when they were this young.
You've made them a year younger! In truth they were 9,12 and 14 years old (which is specified in the description of the video).
Which doesn't change the fact that indeed, they were already great at the time.

*Today in May 2024 I am hearing the beginnings of these three rock stars again. I am very happy, since this year they are touring Europe and in the summer they will play at the big festivals where heavy and legendary rock bands play, such as:* _Waken Open Air from Germany, Barcelona Rock Fest and Mad Cool Festival in Spain, Nimes Festival in France and Gränichen Open Air in Switzerland._ Long live Rock and Roll, long live The Warning. Thanks Ceci for analyzing them.
_I think it is already the best Latin American band in history, because in these ten years they have done things that Soda Estereo, Caifanes, Prisioneros, Suigeneris and other Latin American rock bands did not do._
A friend told me "hey, check out this band, wanna go see them tomorrow?", I heard 3 songs, and replied instantly "Let's go!".
Went to the Vorterix show yesterday on Buenos Aires, and it was marvelous. Felt like I knew their music all my life. I wish I had, so I could singalong all their lyrics with them.
Today, that same friend shows me this video, and it explains everything, music was born inside these girls, and hard work took them where they are and will take them beyond.
Man !
I saw a couple of videos from that concert. You , all sure know how to enjoy and welcome an artist !
ViVa The ⚡ Warning 🍺
Vorterix was their best audience in terms of energy. The Warning deserve an audience like that. Well done to all Argentinians.
I can't wait for Pepsi Center, CDMX on 28th October. They have sold out that 8000 capacity space. Apparently 1st female rock band to do so.
Quite a few Argentine fans are flying in as well for their 3 full headlining shows with "surprises" as promised by the band
- 21st Oct at Guadalajara; sold out
- 25th Oct at Monterrey, their hometown; capacity increased from previous sold out space
- 28th Oct Pepsi Center, CDMX; sold out
Lars: I am the best metal drummer...
Paulina Villarreal: hold my little pony....
I think lars will never say that XD
Glaucia Pereira lmfao
Outstanding.
Owen Sparks what
Lars isnt even a drummer 🥁😂 let alone best metal drummer
they're all amazing but that drummer... holy cow. insanely talented
She could easily replace Lars.....
So talented, even Lars disliked the video xD
Miguel de la vega, damn straight man, that young girl on drums plays like a monster. Great to see kids smashing it!

Pau shares lead vocals with Dany, depending on which song. Go check out Dust to Dust and watch Pau take lead vocals!
My friend recommended The Warning to me and it’s been ALL I have been listening to for days.
No hay retorno.
THE DRUMMER IS SINGING WHILE PLAYING?!?!?!? DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD THAT IS AAAAAAHHHH
This was over five years ago check them out now The Warning Band UA-cam channel lots of great live original music 👍 The drummer sings lead on some of their songs
Check out their UA-cam channel and look for the songs "Narcisista", "Dust to Dust" and "The End". Paulina is drumming and singing lead there. That needs a lot of training and breath control to do so. There are not a lot of singing drummers. 😊
It is VERY hard indeed.
Xx_Pillow_xX - Mickey Dolenz? Phil Collins? Robert Palmer? Don Henley? The list is indeed short and distinguished.
I mean not to brag or anything but I can do it
These three "girls" just opened for the Foo Fighters last week before a crowd of 55,000
Here in 2023 to confirm to everyone in the past they continued too excel as musicians and now they are young adults...... They fuckin rock a tune hard
We saw these girls (now all grown up) at Milton Keynes last night supporting. Muse. Absolutely rocked it, such energy! Best support band I've ever seen tbh!

Yes, they are. I just noticed it was your birthday Gilberto Yañez, Happy Birthday!

She has that Lars drumming style though! Check it!
That's funny... It's one thing to cover a band and sound good/at par/ or better, but to be able to write as well as other bands or well at call cannot be replicated

What a ride it has been so far!!! Incredibly inspiring.
Today is 15 April 2023.
Yesterday The Warning dropped Martirio (Martyrdom in English) from their concert at Metropolitan Theatre, Mexico City on 29 Aug 2022 when Dany was 22, Pau 20 & Ale 17.
It made us all cry irrespective of whether we understand Spanish or not.
I had to come back to this page today.
Just had to.
What an incredibly inspiring journey from their basement!!!
Cmon people, a bit encouragement and appreciation for the bassist!!!!
Well done ladies, Dad’s definitely proud!!!
9 yrs old! she was gettin' into it towards the end too.
Mr. H she so chill in groove she would do better with rhythm dong than rock.
We love Ale!
Mr. H I don’t think bassists get much appreciation anyway but they are all fantastic.
The bass in this song won't do her justice. She rocks though
I’m here from the future. This video has changed the world of of rock music. Metallica will ask you to play your own version on an album. Your own songs will inspire legions of listeners. You will play in stadiums and festivals. You will have fans around the world. You will bring Mexico to the front of rock music. Ale, you will be known as Thunder, wielding a magic bass. Pau, you will be elevated among drummers. Dany, a rock goddess will pass you the torch. You have been Warned.
And to think that today they are going to present their fourth album and are about to do a second series of concerts in Europe, I love to see this from time to time and remember how much they have grown.
And have almost sold out all their European venues which are larger than those of their 1st Euro trip last summer.
Actually its not their fourth album, its their sixth! (Escape the mind, 21 century blood, queen of the murder scene, mayday and error)
@@francor2263 Escape and Mayday were EPs and don't count as full albums.
Every song from Mayday is also on Error.
I first saw this video about 5 years ago. I was curious because they looked so young. I was impressed with their skills, especially Pau pounding those drums. I didn't think much of it since I thought they were just kids playing down their mom and dad's basement. Well, about a year later I happened to notice another video which looked like these 3 young kids but more grown up. They were playing at the University of Nevada, just 3 years later. Well, I almost fell out of my chair. It was them, and wow, not only did they grow up, but they also really honed their skills. Plus, I found out they are sisters, and the name of the band was the Warning. Today, 2023, what more can I say, but these young women know how to rock!
Who is here after the Midnight Sons trailer?
Made it to Marvel!!!
Awesome cover!!!
The version you are talking about is the one with Alessia Cara that will be part of the Metallica Blacklist album coming out on September 10th.

@@ghostbravo7127 Yes I know but he is here watching The Warning’s channel. That’s why I said it’s with Alessia Cara. 🤘🏼😁
@@beadnut Yes but it hasn't been released, nor will it be released on Alessia Cara's channel. It is releasing in the charity album with the Warning as the lead band for the cover so this would be the closet version available in full at the moment.
DRUMMER is the HEART of the band....
+Lhex Lhabz She plays with an insane violence and style!
+Lhex Lhabz She killed it! Just oozing swagger
+Lhex Lhabz Yeah because there is only one rule with the drums and that is hard and loud
+Lhex Lhabz Giving Lars a run for his money for sure

Imagine as a parent you have three daughters and this starts blasting out of your basement live before any of them are even teenagers. 🤟
Imagine being their father and expecting to play with Barbies for at least the next 18 years and then, you have to quit your job and manage a rock band instead. 😀
Not a surprise as they watched rock videos with them when they were tots
@@kevinmcfarlane2752 As all decent parents should.
They're so blessed! :)
Just simply encourage them to continue….it’s better than being sat in front of a TV and video games…..

From the basement to the big stage. I wonder if they had any inkling that 9 years later they would perform their reimagined version of this song with a full string orchestra to a crowd of thousands in their hometown. The Warning kicks “maximum ass”.
Is there a link to this performance?
@@longcastle4863 I have trouble posting a link for some reason. The Warning performed their 10th anniversary concert Oct. 28 at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City. Over 8,000 fans packed the venue. The new song Hell you call a dream, is a testament of how talented and hard working these girls were from the beginning!
The bass is bigger than the bass player. I think she's the tallest one now. Just heard their new song "Choke" and it's awesome.
The bassist is now the tallest one in the band.
6 years later, they've moved on from covers, have released 2 fantastic albums, and are now touring the United States.
It's amazing how much people like this can achieve.

They just embarked on their first world tour and they are packing every venue they play in. Congratulations to the Villarreal sisters. You’ve done it, ladies. You’re getting the respect and recognition you deserve.
I heard they opened for the killers when the bassist was 13 years old?!
Now touring Mexico and a few Europe shows with Muse.
Now they’re playing at the VMAS!!

So six years later, they're on their first North American tour and I got to SEE them live and MEET them in Portland Oregon last night. What an amazing experience they just blew the roof right off the theater, so many great original pieces now that they've created three albums, and they even played their sublime and blistering 2021 remake of Enter Sandman.
Increíbles. Se les ve la seguridad que tienen en sus capacidades. Eso traduce unos padres increíbles, les dejaron desarrollar sus actitudes y ahí tienen el resultado. Triunfadoras y crecerán más. Tienen para rato.
I learned about The Warning months ago because I am a Band-Maid fan (Maidiac) and I had seen the video of the two girl-bands meeting each other.
But I didnt try out their music until a few days ago and I only just learned today that they are sisters. The bass player Alejandra was only 10 years old when they made this video.
Hugely impressed!!! ❤❤❤
9 years old actually. And the guitarist was 14; the drummer 12.
Yeah, the Maids & the Villarreal sisters are big fans of each other.
Besides their music what has blown me away is their lyrics. A song has 2 parts - lyrics & music. What a band is saying is very important to me. After a long time here is a group that is consistently delivering insightful messages about today's society through profound metaphors. Especially in times like this where the show is more important than the substance.
That little drummer is Dylan-esque in her metaphors and as dark as Roger Waters in her poetry. Wise beyond their years the sisters published a concept album, Queen of the Murder Scene, in 2018 as 18, 16 & 13 year olds. That hooked me as I still can't believe that a 15 year old girl, going through an emo phase in middle school, wrote the 1st draft about unrequited love, lunacy, self harm & death.
And by now , you probably already know that both bands will play one evening this year !
it's so crazy to me that i've seen THIS group of kids twice in concert. So proud of their growth!
It brings tears to my eyes, great job girls. Drummer is on fire. Lead guitar smoking. Bass player is the tosted marshmallow adds a little sweetness.

@@Hephasto The Warning's third album should be out any day now. What the girls are about so far is pretty much straight forward rock-n-roll. See their Lunario CDMX concert to get a sense of what their music is about. They are phenomenal song writers. Even at their young ages.
Fun fact: Kirk Hammett said Pau kicked "maximum ass!" This was really very simple for her at the time. At 10-12 years of age, she would practice crossing over and very difficult syncopations like a pro.
The level of musical proficiency since then was already outstanding.
Its no wonder that 9 years after this upload they are already legends of Mexican Rock, confirmed in Wacken 2024!
