Starfield did kinda just disappear. Pretty crazy when you compare it to their other releases. They used to feel like events
It just great boring after awhile. Very repetitive quest.
There's really nothing too memorable about it. Starfield doesn't even have memorable companions. There's no Hancock, Piper, or Danse. Just Sarah, Barret, Andreja, and Sam, who all have the charisma of a soaked box of tissues. The setting is so sanitized and safe, it makes you wonder how it even has a M-rating. Even the good faction quests are just going around in a bunch of same-y locations. It's only saving grace is that it'll be a good platform for modders to use since they finally added mantling to a Creation Engine game.
All this game did was make me want to replay Skyrim. Which I did. And had more fun doing just that.
It’s not unsurprising. The game is inferior to their other releases and does not have an established fan base.
For example, I own all Fallout games (except F76, Tactics and Brotherhood) and the past three elder scrolls games, yet am not even interested in Starfield (And I usually love sci-if).
And if their next game does not improve either, then I won’t buy that either.
@@lomborg4876 agreed. All this video showcases the truth about Starfield. Which to me feels like Bethesda played a little too safe with this new IP. Usually you would want to break ground with new features and new ideas. But it plays exactly like Fallout minus VATS with Skyrim powers. The emptiness of the game and the constant fast travel loading screen is what killed it for me.
FO Tactics though is underrated. I loved it. It truly took the ip to a different level. More turned based XCOM style.
AI is mostly terrifying, but sometimes hilarious 😂

Crafting is worse, base building is worse, perks are worse, there's less gear slots....hours of your life you'll never get back!
I can't help but think that Todd feels somehow liberated after watching this, all those years of spewting bs so this must still feel good for him.
Once Phantom Liberty and the 2.0 update came out, Starfield was dead to me.
Starfield went from a hundred to zero real fucking fast; everyone ditched it to go back to Cyberpunk or something.

Starfield runs WAY better than Fallout 4, can't play fallout 4 without a unofficial patch, and plus game crashes like dozens times, I love fallout 4 but damn.
@@it2spooky4me79 i've played fallout 4 multiple times (on series s) without any mods doing achievement runs and it doesn't play that bad, some crashing downtown but everything else worked fine, not to mention starfield is boring.

I would still have hope for es6. Fallout 4 for 2015 wasn’t a bad game. Starfield in 2015 wouldn’t have been as bad but it’s really like a 2012 game. Es6 won’t be out for awhile that’s why I have hope for it. Like it’s not even gonna come out in this gen if we want it to actually be good. If it come out in 2025 then yea it’s gonna be bad.

the greatest thing come out of starfield is after the hype died down there's surge of negative reviews of the game that i play in the background while playing Baldur's Gate 3 and Cyberpunk 2077

AI is just a tool when used for these kind of things. There's already laws that protect people from slander and plagiarism and so on. So if someone uses that tool for those things, they would be violating the law.
There are some programs too (government use programs) that can detect AI generated content. The Pentagon made an announcement about it a few years back. So, it's not something to worry about unless someone makes a more advanced version in the near future, and even then, there will most likely be a way to counter and/or detect their use.
Plagiarism and slander are civil matters. Not criminal matters. A person can't be arrested and brought to criminal court if they are guilty of slander or plagiarism. They can be hit with a lawsuit, that's it. And that's only if the victim has the resources, funds, and time to engage in a lawsuit. If the victim is too uneducated or too financially impoverished to engage in a lawsuit, there really isn't much they can do to legally defend themselves. Which obviously sucks for potential victims who are struggling and/or disadvantaged and lack the means to properly defend themselves.

As cool as Ai is right now, I truly believe there is much more to it. People think Ai is doing so much, when it's really not. I really feel like the term Ai, is getting out of control. It's become an awful buzzword, to sell products, when Ai is far from a reality. My Ai LG TV and Ai Fridge have never once asked me a question or had any meaningful conversation. lol. You know what I mean. Until the day we have a product, that is not connected via the internet, that can learn by asking questions, is the day Ai is born. Anyways, back on topic. This guy had to capture crazy footage moments, listen closely to the Ai voice to clip it together, adding transitions, music, and all stitched together to become a finished product. Deepfake videos like this are not a walk in the park, they aren't even close to easy to do, nor did it take him only a day to complete it. Ai today are algorithms, that needs a lot of listening and tweaking, to make something that sounds believable and real. You still need to edited all content with Adobe Premiere and Photoshop. Deepfakes are great, but at the end of the day, like I said, you still need a ton of software, you need that Ai voice program that was used, and you still need both Adobe Premiere and Photoshop. This guy is an absolute pro, who knows exactly what he's doing. I just really want the term Ai to be fully understood, and instead use the term deepfake more often. This video and 99% of other videos out there, are all deepfakes. It takes some serious skill to make something like this happen. I saw some comments saying that this Ai stuff is starting to get scary, and I want to assure you, that you're 100% fine. Ai is not out to get you, I promise. We don't even have personal at home robots like in Star Wars yet, other than maybe your roomba. lol. Now, if someone is doing a deepfake of you, then that's targeted, and is much more scary. Let's hope to god deepfake videos stay funny like this, and don't land people in prison. If it becomes too easy to do, it could get out of control. Luckly, it's not even close to easy. yet... Great video! This guy is awesome and might have to drop him a like too. lol!

Ya know, if developers were actually HONEST, I'd have a bit of respect for them. I wouldn't be so critical. It's the lies and empty promises, all the bullsh*t corporate talk. That's what offends me. If only a game developer had the balls to say: "Our game is okay. It's not GREAT. It's probably a 6 or 7 out of 10. If that. It definitely could have been much better. Wanna call us lazy and soulless? If you feel the need, go ahead. But here's our game. It's nothing special. But it's not AWFUL. It's fine. Buy it. Or not. Do whatever."
I would be MUCH less harsh with my criticism of that developer. Just be real. Be honest. Even if the honest truth is something I don't want to hear, I'll at least have respect for the dev for being authentic and genuine. They're not blowing smoke up my ass. They're not promising me a Ferrari, yet delivering a rusty old Toyota. Just me honest with me.

It disappeared because most people forgot it existed in between 2 rpgs with 100+ hours at the top of their class with cinematic storytelling
BG3 and Cyberpunk feel like truly next gen experiences, Starfield feels stuck in 2017. If starfield came out before next gen consoles launched on ps4 and xbone (or right when they launched) all the loading screens and bad animations would've been more forgivable. Instead we have a game that feels outdated in a lot of aspects yet still needs an ssd and a 3080 to run 60fps on medium-high settings. I don't get what they spent all the development time on. And that's not even getting into all the little things that seem to have regressed from Skyrim/Fallout 4 like exploration and mission design.
@@Flyon86 True. I don't see anything in Starfield that is true next gen. The barren planets with 2 caves and 3 outposts could have been rendered by ps4 and xone as well. Even cities like New Atrantis aren't that detailed compared to cities like in GTA5, RDR2, etc. And why the hell does it require SSD?! There is literally loading screen everytime you move between interior and exterior. What a joke

just look at Starfield.., its vision was obviously cut down (exploration by foot & ship) and with too small areas per loadingscreen
=> Series S RAM limitations is the cause.., and Xbox is now focusing on "199.-" hardware, so expect in the future, all Xbox brands to make their visions run on a 199.- console (holding back devs..)

this is the downfall of those franchises (besides they're getting pushed out fast, too keep gamepass feed.., quantity over quality)
=> can only hope devs (maybe studios) jump ship to other publishers (which a few definitely will..)
It definitely not the series fault, it's just Consoles In general aren't ad powerful as people say they are, they reach atleast like bare minimum requirements.
Starfield is vaaaaaaaaastly underrated, I wont play it again until the creation kit comes out but I got my 195 hours in which is more then I can say for No Man's sky. Tons of things annoy me in it, and its the first Bethesda game which has a quest I refuse to complete but overall it was pretty fun and once the creation kit comes out it will be amazing

@@orbit1894 I cannot see how it could possibly be a 5, id rate it closer to 7.5-8/10. I enjoyed the lore and ship building is awesome, I really like the NASApunk vibe. The variety of cultures was interesting as well though each main city should have been more indepth. Everything I hate about this game will be fixed with mods in time anyways so im looking forward to the future

Love Starfield 400hrs in NG+ 2 ,got exactly what i expected a Bethesda RPG with a twist been gaming since the eighties not bothered by loading screens and the odd glitch havent played a perfect game in all that time they all have something some folks will cry about..

Just posted over 125 hours into this game as of writing. Easily one of the most memorable games I've played in a while. The last was Witcher 3+DLC and Yakuza 0-7 before that. Plenty of issues, but just magical as I remember Skyrim and Fallout being. To me it was a fantastic 8/10. Hate train on this game only come from overzealous (perfect descriptor) chatterboxes that know how to ride the young generations hate-chasing. If it disappeared now, eventually it'll be marked as "a gem that was treated too harshly on release." Gotta love game journalists lmao
