No, you can save an affinity file as a PSD and import that :) I’ve got a few videos on CTA5 on my channel but there’s loads more on the official REALLUSION channel for creating puppets :)
I can't get this to work. How do you get it to save as PNG with layers to import into CTA5. I've been trying to figure this out sense the CTA5 launch. I'm so lost :(
Oh, sorry, I didn't verify what I meant. Although that is also helpful to know. I mean saving a PNG from the Affinity Designer. I only lets me save as their file format :) @@kdsketch
@MadameUnikite ok! If you go to ‘file’ instead of ‘save as’ you can choose ‘export’ or export as (sorry! Not at my pc to check atm!) and from there you should be able to choose the file type you want to save as!
So you'd just add bones in the bone editor by linking them to an existing one - then switch to the spring editor and make sure the new bones are in the right groups at the top of the panel before you apply a preset/make adjustments in there. I'll try and add this to the next one though! :)

You can drag and drop the layered PSD or SVG file straight into the program :)

Try to make a tutorial on how to add spring bones to a G3 character that is already rigged and has bones. I seem to have issues with those...
