Love the raincoat outfit as that’s one I have from my childhood! I don’t have this dress, but if I stumble across it, I’ll get it to put under the raincoat because I usually don’t put anything under it and just button it up! These videos are great! Loving AG Fashion Week! ❤
I still don't like the dress all that much, but I do think that coat set works so well with it. I'm glad you're enjoying all the great content this week - me, too!!

I made a white CYO shirt with the name of my granddaughter's sorority in pink on the front and put it over the dress so you just see the skirt. Because the dress is so tight, it works! Love what you've done with it, but really love those lightning bolt earrings you made! Grace can sell her doll clothes and you can sell your doll jewelry!
Aww, thanks - mostly it's just a matter of scoping out which ready-made bangles lend themselves to sliding over AG earring posts. The necklaces are a bit more work and the beaded bracelets are definitely the most labor-intensive. But I love having jewelry options for them!

I have several of this dress,bought quite a few Truly Me dolls during this time. I also have several of the Star dress and Magenta jacket, same reason. Thank you for ideas on what to do with them.

You are so welcome! I'm glad you came across it and enjoyed it. I think others will benefit, too, because it's probably a neglected dress in a LOT of ppl's doll wardrobes.
You do a great job with these challenges, and you do give me lots of ideas. My very favorite was look #2. I could write a whole story about how she's on Thanksgiving break and coming home for the holiday weekend. Being a college student, she's got her backpack, and she's in the Midwest so it's cold enough for the hat and jacket.

I randomly liked the dark Denim skirt though I wasn't a big fan of the bow or shoes. I also liked the 80s look.
Yeah - the dark blue skirt has potential, for sure. I probably could have given it another go and had better results. But it's okay. Some are just stronger than others :)
I actually like the dress so it is cute in the challenge to see different ways to use it. I use the jacket more frequently. I have the raincoat set so cute. I will also try the dress on my doll with purple hair. I think look #5 works . I find the dress generally fits with a little space. Thanks for the video enjoyed all the looks

Love the #1 overalls and the raincoat and boots #4 (the colors are a perfect match!). I like #6 and #8 both better than Courtney's Meet outfit. Cute! I am impressed that you got that dress into the #7 jeans and the #10 shorts so beautifully! I do really like the grey dance top in #7 too. This whole challenge was great. I actually have never owned that dress, as my TM's have been older. Thanks for sharing!!

#4 is really cute with the rain jacket. That might be my favorite...
#1 is a solid choice.
#5 is great as is, but I think it would be cuter to tweak it for either warm or cool weather. So, just leave it without the shirt for a warmer weather look OR with the shirt but also with leggings/tights and boots/sneakers for a cool weather look.
#2 and #10 just speak to me!

Great suggestion on #5. I think I'd gravitate to making it a cool weather look because color-wise, that's the bigger challenge. Quintessential spring colors can be tough to pull off as fall colors, but I'd try it!

omg - I don't like most of the TM meet outfits, tbh so me saying I don't love it isn't saying much lol.
My favorite is #6, #7 💜(yes I know, it is totally my jam though) and the raincoat outfit. I do have this dress and I do like it a lot. I think if it was paired with a lilac colored sweater it would have looked really goid in a couple of your chosen outfits. I have the raincoat on my Corinne doll for my April showers bring May flowers 🌸 display and totally forgot to put the matching hat on her!! Thanks for the reminder :)

I love these! I have this dress and the blue jacket and I actually love it but don’t ever put it on my dolls. You’ve definitely inspired me! I just bought Courtney’s white fringe jacket (got it yesterday) and #6 is my favorite! I will be putting one of my dolls in that outfit. The blue trench coat is my second favorite. I don’t have that AG item unfortunately, but the outfit you styled is super cute! I love the long sleeved shirt under the dress in #5. I think it looks great the way you styled it! You’ve given me so many ideas! Your doll is adorable! I love her freckles and wig!!

@agtakesover I prefer this one over the rainbow star dress...I have nothing against the rainbow star one, just think it's weird the colors they chose for the stars. Like not traditional rainbow colors, but teals, fuchsias, etc. This one looks like a spring floral/Easter dress, to me.

Hi Kristie, good work on the looks. I can just picture you trying to stuff this dress under,in and through everything else! Lol. I actually like the little blue jacket of this meet outfit but I get that you can only choose one piece. My favourites were the Raincoat set and #8. I am a Jean jacket kind of girl. 😊 I did think #9 looked really sweet but I like pink so. Oh also the purple overalls of course!👍Thanks for the fun video!

This is such a challenge! I never use this dress either. I usually love a floral, but the mix of colours makes it too busy for my taste, and the overall cut of the dress feels quite juvenille. I'd love to see you style the meet outfit after this with the white dress with rainbow AG stars!
Yeah, I'm still not at all sold on this dress. I'm glad I did this one, though, because most of the TM meet dresses are underwhelming but so many of us own them. So hopefully some ppl will be inspired to get more use out of theirs. I will *gladly* do the white dress with the stars on it. I don't care for that one much, either and we also have multiples of it lol.
@@agtakesover At least the dress has white in it. But I was sorting through my doll clothes the other day and the pink jacket from that outfit is even worse. I hate the material. But since it’s a jacket I don’t think there is any saving it
Just saw this - and yeah, I think the only hope for the jacket is to try to make it part of a "uniform" or club jacket of some sort. Maybe even make an iron on to put on the back (thinking about the fact that we have like 4 of these) so that it could look like a jacket for a dance school or color guard or something like that. I don't love that jacket, but a highly motivated person could find something to do with it, I suppose lol.

Yes, this dress is SO tight! It fits claudie well since she's so skinny but I'm sure any of my PC girls would be busting out the velcro 😂😂😂

I think I solved the mystery about this tight dress (mine is also very tight on my normal dolls). This meet outfit came out in 2017 and was replaced in 2020. 2017 was the year that AG decided to make the Truly Me dolls (and some of the historicals) with perma-panties. If you have any dolls with these built in panties, you’ll notice their bodies are much slimmer and they have almost no butts. I’m so glad they listened to us consumers and got rid of that bad idea!
That makes perfect sense! I wondered why it was SO snug, but I didn't even think about the timeline.
So jealous of the Osh Kosh overalls! I’m not sure if they came from Canada, because there’s a Canadian who makes those overalls, which sell out in minutes and I’ve never gotten them.
More importantly, these 10 look vids are so creative and fun. And this AGFashionWeek idea was brilliant! No pressure, but I hope you come up with another hashtag game someday.
The 80s look with Courtney’s western jacket was BY FAR my favourite. I never realized how 80s this dress was.
I'll double check with Grace, but I bet it's the same seller. She sells in FB groups and you're right - everything sells out almost instantly. We had tried unsuccessfully to score some a couple times prior to finally getting the purple ones. As for the dress, I can totally picture it looking right at home on a doll in your 80s diorama! I'm really glad you're enjoying AGFashionWeek. It seems to be well-received, so I'm totally open to making it an annual thing :) (hashtag games definitely feel like oldschool agtube, and in a good way)
purple overalls!!! I LOVE those overalls omg. Unfortunately I really hate this dress, I think it’s so ugly lol. You did a good job though! Turquoise raincoat is also excellent, it matches so well, buuuut I prefer the outfits that hide more of my least favourite AG dress haha!
100% relatable. It wasn't my favorite before this challenge and it still isn't lol. But as this challenge goes, I count it as a success.
Outfits 9 and 10 may not have been your favorite, but i loved them. Both numbers 9 and 10 would have been outfits i would have worn. Great job again.
Are number 10 shorts from a 10pk from Amazon? If so, i just got them in the mail today. And I have to say they are really nice shorts for an off brand.

I think maybe if look 5 was a turtle neck, it would look less off putting because I really like the colour! Maybe adding a scarf? I’m not sure but I think it is the neck line

I love the dress with the overalls and the trench best, though the 80s look is cute, too. I don’t like that dress with the Makena skirt, either. That outfit needs another shirt underneath it. The ombré and floral clash.
