Ten Years Gone...one of my favorites. It incorporates such fantastic vocals and lyrics. The instrumentals are gorgeous and it takes you on a journey throughout the song. Definitely deserves a place on the list.

I would agree, except for the fact that Stairway is #1. Stairway in my opinion is a good song, but not enough to be even in my top 5. I think Stairway is overrated.

Love EVERY one of their songs. When the Levy Breaks is so great . Communication Breakdown is from the beginning. Just love this band. Led Zeppelin was my favorite and still is and I am old. My 12 year old grandson says Grandma you are so wild..It makes me smile

+sus sus It's not even the greatest Led Zeppelin song. Personally, I prefer almost every song on Led Zeppelin 4 over Stairway - let alone songs like "Ten Years Gone."
It's riffs are orgasmic, but the song drags on for 3 minutes longer than it should. They got pretty indulgent without much change, just resting on a riff for minutes.

+Stanislav Filipov Well I'd put Over The Hills as the best Zeppelin song ever, but I can't really disagree with you. Whenever I rank my Top 10 Zeppelin song, I never include Stairway. Why? Because Stairway is not a song. Led Zeppelin has contributed with many pieces of art to the musical history, but Stairway to Heaven is not one of those. Stairway is THE song, it's Rock itself, and it deliveres a kind of feeling that can only be achived due to a pact with the devil. Stairway to Heaven it's not about Zeppelin, but timeless magic.

I've listened to Zeppelin for literally 50 years, seen them live twice and couldn't rank order the top 25 songs they're all so good. Add in live versions and there's no way to pick one over the other. The raw talent of these four guys is epic.
There is not a bad Led Zeppelin track or an album which is a testament to just how great they truly were. Great songs, check, unbelievable singer, check, incredibly creative and inventive guitar player, check, possibly the absolute best rythym section in all of rock history, check. Epic.

I've always liked the folk style of it. I think the lyrics are excellent. I also love the mandolin, one of my favourite instruments. 2nd best on IV at least.

With a Led Zeppelin Top 10 without "Stairway to Heaven" you can't be a LZ fan. "In My Time of Dying" and "Achilles Last Stand" have nothing to do in a LZ top 10; The rest is OK. In "Achilles..." Robert Plant's voice is particularly strained.

Every time they say “Bonham and Jones’ chemistry” I want to shoot myself. If you listen to zep you’d hear that 9/10 songs have Bonham matching his drumming to page. Part of what makes him so amazing if you ask me

Such a great band! Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd surely the two greatest bands of all time!

It's riffs are orgasmic, but the song drags on for 3 minutes longer than it should. They got pretty indulgent without much change, just resting on a riff for minutes.

With a Led Zeppelin Top 10 without "Stairway to Heaven" you can't be a LZ fan. "In My Time of Dying" and "Achilles Last Stand" have nothing to do in a LZ top 10; The rest is OK. In "Achilles..." Robert Plant's voice is particularly strained.

Every time they say “Bonham and Jones’ chemistry” I want to shoot myself. If you listen to zep you’d hear that 9/10 songs have Bonham matching his drumming to page. Part of what makes him so amazing if you ask me

Practically impossible to make a list! I would mention "Stairway to Heaven", "Ramble On", "Since I've Been Loving You", "Going to California", "Tangerine", "The Song Remains The Same" and "What Is and What Should Never Be" as some of my favourites. Such a great band! Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd surely the two greatest bands of all time!

Fool in the rain was my personal favourite, as a drummer.
My dad was a drummer and I remember him saying it's one of the hardest songs out there.
