    Omg, where has this been! I’ve had chrome books for years and knew very basic stuff.... turn on, turn off, how to search etc. I learned so much watching this video! Definitely appreciate your making an easy to understand tutorial. Now I know what the buttons are for that I was afraid to touch.

    Great video for a new chrome book laptop user. Question when setting up your email address and password can you use the same one as you have on your phone or do you need to get a new one . Hope to see more videos on the use of different laptops and 🖥️ computers. Do you have any suggestions of one's like yours. I have trouble understanding some times the booklet that comes with the device. Thank you for your help. God bless you with all you do for us consumers.

    Thanks for the video. I just got a Chromebook. I am a little confused with terms. Is the only difference between a laptop and and Chromebook is the operating system???? eBay refurbished, had a Chromebook for $45 and I just had to check it out. It is smaller and lighter than my laptop. I am still just playing with it; it works a bit different than my laptop. Thanks again!!!!😃😃😃

    • @dollyschild
      @dollyschild 2 роки тому

      Hi. Yes that is right. A computer is either a desktop (big) or a laptop ( small and portable), thats the outside package - the operating system is the brain. The operating system can be windows (made by Microsoft) or mac ( made by Apple) or Linux (open source which means it doesnt have an owner so anyone can edit or enhance or make their own version). Chrome OS , which is the operating system on a chromebook, is a linux based system. Linux is less popular so you probably never heard of it. Nerdy stuff ;)

    • @amvvol2
      @amvvol2 3 роки тому +1

      I have found that there are 2 types of screens that a new chromebook buyer needs to be aware of - the "anti glare" screen can seem to have washed out colours for some activities. these screens seem to be the norm now for non touch screens. Touch screens on the other hand are glossy and seem to give more vibrant colours. The anti glare screen seems to be a norm now for the cheaper non touch laptop. I bought a new windows laptop recently and the seemingly dull screen puzzled me for some time. I have older "non touch" laptops all have glossy screens which although have vibrant colours are highly reflective

    Thank you for your tutorial. I have a Chromebook, got for Christmaa last year. Haven't used it too much, still not used to it. I'm used to Windows, etc. I must have hit some setting the last time I used it, of course I don't know what I touched, and definitely regret it. Every screen or window I'm on, now has this blue, almost like a highlighted box. Everytime I click my curser on something the box moves to the new area. It's visually exhausting. I can't get rid of it. I need your expertise please!please!! I will try to take a video for you and show you what I mean.
