Yes agree mate: Beach worm vs Pippi vs nippers. I’m up the far north coast and catch plenty of bream and good tarwhine off the beaches year round. Pretty much exclusively using Pippi, which are plentiful up my way and I’m ordinary at worming. I catch very few Whiting, even in summer when they are on, with Pippi. I look at whiting as a welcome by-catch when I’m chasing bream. Worms are the ultimate bait to maximise your chances at whiting from the beach, followed by nippers imo. and .. the last cast is rarely the last cast 😉
@@AlexBellissimo yes, many moons ago in another life I used to pick up a few blood worms from the old Brighton bait and tackle on the Grand Pde, Brighton-Le-Sand. They are a dynamite bait.
Another great video Alex I'm starting to gear up for spring garfish and yellowfin still plenty of salmon ,cought my first lot of beach worms last week about 24 worms great for winter time tight lines.
Dear Mr Bellissimo, I want to thank you for your videos that I like very much. I am a beginner and I often buy equipment unnecessarily because I am wrong on the sizes to buy. For the paternoster rig how many grams for lead on average? And the size of the swivel barrel? Happy New Year, sir.
Nice little outing. I had a good guess at where that was im prob right judging that sand build up.if im correct ive done well there myself on flathead and bream. How gd are those maui jims.lenses are expensive but well worth it
Awesome video Al ! You lucky bugger ! Wish I was up the coast fishing ! Where did you get your shoulder bag ? It looks like a great bag ! I have the biggest alvey one but I feel the whole thing isn’t deep enough , yours looks a lot deeper especially the outer pockets .The alvey one has the stupid drink holder and these other clips that don’t really work , I would rather two deep outer pockets and one big inner pocket to hold fish .
@@AlexBellissimo The one you have there is made by Elkat fishing , i have the big alvey one and it’s ok , i just liked the twin outer pockets on your one as the drink holder on the alvey bag is useless to me .
I prefer to have them filleted. Bream 'can' have cyst in the flesh so best to have them filleted. Pan fried parmasin cheese/bread crum mix shallow fried Bellissimo! 😘
What about Blood Worms.? I use to dig those in the lake, illegally of course. They were the best bait for whiting and Bream I ever used. Don't even know if they are available anymore.
Looks like you can fish all year long where you live, Alex. What a paradise for surf anglers!
This is up the mid north cast. But yes Sydney is good providing you vary your species with the seasons.
Excellent Alex, motivation to get the rods going in the near future. Enjoy your fishing
Absolutely! Get motivated maté beautifully weather lately 👌
Top video mate. Thanks for letting me fish with you. Miss fishing.
Thanks for watching this video much appreciated 👍
@@AlexBellissimo ok 👌. Have great weekend mate
You bloody champion Alex, what a great session! There's a saying "he who casts last, laughs last" well I think someone said it 😉
Hey thanks mate. Always gotta have at least one more cast after I sad last cast 😅👍
Great video, Alex. Love watching your videos

Yes pippies awesome bait👌 but it pays to have the worms or yabbies. Even better are the squirt or blood worms the ultimate!

Your doing well👌
Thanks for watching the video cheers
Well done, Alex! Good to have some down time to yourself fishing with a mate.
With a mate isnt really time to yourself...
@@ebisu8824 Yeah, what is? You interpreted it literally. Down time to yourself is whatever you want to do away from work. That's what it means.
Yes great to have a couple of days away from Syd 👍
Good one Alex. Carol from Cronulla ( but currently in BC,Canada…trying a bit of lake fishing for rainbow trout 😉) Hope to see you later in the year.
Great video, Alex 👍🏼
Thanks Wayne
Videos are not my expertise haha
@@AlexBellissimo they are still very good, mate…. Keep them coming 👍🏼

Hi Alex, what a good catch . Which beach are you fishing at?
Nice little outing.
I had a good guess at where that was im prob right judging that sand build up.if im correct ive done well there myself on flathead and bream.
How gd are those maui jims.lenses are expensive but well worth it
Yes Maui Jim's are very good glasses 👌
Alex just discovered you on UA-cam, time to switch over to you from Roger Osborne's stuff !😊
That’s very cool 👍
Yes I’m agree
I’m thinking to switch over Alex Bellissimo too!! Beautiful ❤😊

Thanks mate just a rare get away. The shoulder bags up can purchase through the Alvey website or at most tackle shops.

I agree with the red carry bag with the second pocket being a small one, a bit useless.
We need more videos!
Hey Michael
Thanks mate I will do my best to get more out there. Really appreciate you watching the vids 😊👍
Very interesting
Cheers mate and middle of the day
Hi Alex. Which beach are you fishing on? I've noticed you have your 4wd there. Thanks great video. 👍

great video , Alex. Here in SE Qld it's been windy and rainy for months. I am getting toey!!
What brand of line do you use?
Can I please ask you, how do you cook your bream what I mean is do you fillet them or cook them whole
I prefer to have them filleted. Bream 'can' have cyst in the flesh so best to have them filleted. Pan fried parmasin cheese/bread crum mix shallow fried Bellissimo! 😘
Hi Alex,
Could you let me know what tide you find best, on the drop? time after high etc
A very basic answer. When the swell is up around 1.5m plus high tide. When the swell is below 1m a low tide.
So good at fishing 🎉😊😮😂
Thanks mate im just ok much appreciated
What about Blood Worms.? I use to dig those in the lake, illegally of course. They were the best bait for whiting and Bream I ever used. Don't even know if they are available anymore.
yes blood worms are even better than beach worms.
nice. which beach is it. only cause i see you can drive on it
Crescent Head beach 👍
Hello! If you don't mind can you tell us the exact location where you fished? Thank you in advance!
Thank you very much!
