A Yellow Presence

My attention was on three blue heron couples renovating their homes in a gangly dead tree. Then a rustling and a yellow flash drew my attention to a shoreline shrub. There, almost within reach, a group of tiny Palm Warblers gathered. Once again, I was reminded of how hard it is to see what is taking place nearby in plain sight.
