Barrow-in-Furness Urban Tame Team #6 - Beached 7.4m Whale and South Walney Anti-Aircraft battery.
The whale is a Baleen whale, and most likely a Minke. The anti aircraft battery would have defended the Shipyard and the Iron and Steel works against bomber aircraft threat during the second world war.
