Played the new Kemco SRPG Cross Tails recently and really enjoyed it - really solid effort for a kemco game

I've been playing Chroma Squad lately, a Brazilian turn-based strategy RPG about running a Super Sentai/Power Rangers type TV show. You have to follow director's instructions to get a higher audience, then that audience results in more money to build weapons and costumes using cardboard and duct tape. The humor is pretty good and it hits every trope of the genre of shows. There's a lot more they could have done with it, but it's great for what it is. I like how you can use teamwork to throw other members of your party to move farther on your turn. Definitely fits the setting. It's on just about every system and goes on sale all the time. Definitely worth a play!

@@notimetogameI have heard good things, despite being a Kemco game! Glad to see them putting out something a little more well received. Love to root for an underdog.

I pretty much never comment, but wanted to let you know that I instantly subscribed after seeing your Legacy of Shining Force video a few months back. I have a lot of love for the series myself since the 1st game was what got me into Strategy RPGs. I was surprised to learn of Final Conflict when I thought I knew all the games released in the classic era for the series (loved the art from Death's Scream Bloody Gore used in that segment too lol).
In the end this is my long winded way of saying I've really enjoyed going through your backlog / new videos and am glad the hard drive issue didn't stop you along with the others in the comments. Looking forward to seeing what you make next!

Best thing about Astlibra, is the surprising build variety you can do in it that expands as you unlock skills from gear. It's like nier automata, most people just ignore the chips and just hack and slash with whatever. But when you look deeper into the system, there's plenty of options that can make the player stupidly stronger by changing how you play.

I enjoyed the game as well, I don't understand all the hate for it.

I'm glad you're enjoying Soul Hackers 2. Being adults definitely allows your party to do more than they could if they were high school students. I also love that Ringo is voiced and has a personality. When they premiered the game, they had a live action battle outside that was like a Power Rangers episode and even had the light up coat. If you get a chance, check it out. It was on Atlus' Japanese channel.
If you're ever in the mood, I can't recommend enough trying Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders, and the sequel, Heroes. They have ports on Steam now, and combine real-time strategic battles with elements of Dynasty Warriors. They were made in Korea for the original XBox, and have a medieval European setting, complete with elves, orcs, and vampires. What I love about them most however is the unrelenting metal soundtrack. It constantly shreds throughout every battle and fits perfectly. I think you'd have a lot of fun with it, and I'd love to see a review.

I just backed up my entire phone to an external hard drive while I watched this.
Also, what's your favorite episode of Star Trek? Best movie after Wrath of Khan? I can talk Trek forever.

@@RPGFort I probably beat Star Trek Legacy at least 40 times on my XBox 360. The game is trash on PC, but being able to engage in ship to ship combat like that hadn't been achieved before and it handled well on a controller. It also featured voice acting from all five Captains, which I don't think has been done since. Some of the achievements were great too, my favorite being Antique Collector, which required you to keep an Enterprise era ship in your squad until a Next Generation level. That's harder than it sounds.
I love Star Trek V. I know what that says about me and I don't care. Between TRON and Time Bandits, David Warner was my childhood hero. He's an absolute nerd icon. He was better in V than VI.
