In this video presentation, I unbox, and test play a brand new, and factory sealed Xbox 360 Arcade that I purchased from Ebay. I purchased it for around $630 USD.

What I'd do to re-live the years 2007-2012 Again playing this console. I was 7 and 12 years old throughout that time. Thank you for this video. Nostalgia hit me hard to the point it brought a tear to my eye. I'm now 22 years old 😥

It was literally the most incredible gaming generation ever in terms of pure fun, and joy as that time in history was superb and I totally agree it felt super amazing and gaming has never felt the same after that generation
@HaloinfiniteEternal back then developers had passion. Now gaming is all competitive and about money. Its why I hardly play games these days anymore. I still play cod 4, gears of war 3, bo1 and World at war to this day

Yea they never had stick drift or any problems hardly ever as I literally can’t remember ever having a single issue with an Xbox 360 controller from launch day when it first came out all the way through the entire generation as they was built so much better and was far more durable than Modern Xbox One / Series controllers

Ever since I got one of these back in 2008, the Xbox 360 became my favorite video game console of all time because it really was “all about the fun!!”

Yeah, I have one of these too. I got it for 50 bucks on EBay back in 2018. Still has the factory seal on it, never opened.

The Xbox 360 was the first Microsoft System that was really able to go toe to toe with the Playstation in popularity. The Xbox Series X is bringing back the gaming glory standard that the Xbox 360 set, after the struggles of the Xbox One. Can't say i'll miss those gigantic power brick cords though lol.
Every time i see someone mention the Xbox One, i have nightmares about mine. I really was happy to be rid of it! The Xbox One only really started becoming great when the Xbox One X came out near the end of its lifetime.
My original VHS One and Xbox One S had so many problems with them, I’m sure the anger has taken 10 years of my life. Very rarely did they ever behave and if they did that wouldn’t last too long. Honestly glad the 9th gen is back on track for Microsoft.

Tbh in my opinion I think Xbox is still slacking with the series x like yes the series x is powerful and good graphics but it doesn’t feel like home, what made the Xbox 360 so special was the games, the U.I and all the features it had

Such a great time when xbox really became a household name alongside the PlayStation and Nintendo offerings. The controller was one of the best, but my god that D-pad was abysmal..
It brought many to xbox because that 500 dolllor price dropped down to 199 with the arcade every kid got one for christmas with cod waw or halo 3 lol
grand theft auto 4, wwe 12 red dead redemption, sr3 and black ops zombies were my favorites
Wish I could say I had good 360 days as a child but unfortunately I had one throughout my teen years and I still have best memories of the 360 when I got one back in 2014
The 360 days were the best days. Started on the 360 on 12/25/2012. I was 5 at the time when I got one from my grandparents. Got black ops l and ll, halo 4, Forza motorsport 4, CoD ll and 3 with it. Now I'm 16 and in highschool, still playing the 360.

The 2008-2009 Arcade Model-
Once you got you a hard drive for this thing it would last forever!! The disc tray might experience some issues where you can’t get it to open, but that is an easy fix!! The laser might get dirty to where it doesn’t read Discs no more, but taking it apart and cleaning the laser with rubbing alcohol is an even easier fix!!
I still have mine to this day and it still works although I painted it solid black using a halo three collectors edition shell that I ordered mainly because the power button is black and all I had to do was use masking tape to put around that very precisely so that when I painted it it would even out and look perfect-
For the record the pro was the same thing but with an hdd and a shiny disc drive, and my friend owns a xenon that still runs; with that same xenon of his I found out about minecraft
@@retrodude6215 All I know was that the First model that had the Updated Chips(that would not red ring) was the 08-09 Arcade Model.. yes, it did not come with a hard drive, and it was all white, including the disc tray lip.
But at that time, the models that were own store shelves that came with HDD’s were still of the Models that would Redring! Maybe you could get lucky? But my friend Jeremy bought the pro model, and I bought the arcade model and his died and mine kept working…
Or his red ringed and I still have the one I got to this day! It has never gave me any issues aside from having to clean the Laser ever 6months to a year?
Well on your arcade there’s something to check. If it doesn’t have hdmi, it’s a Core model, a rare Xbox 360 model that was replaced by the Arcade in 2007. If it’s a core, try not to push it too hard because it’s really prone to rrod.@@turismofoegaming8806

Hahahaha thats sad i have aeound 20 Xbox 360s i bought all of them i wanned to have all Mainboard revisions from Xenon to zephyr and falcon,opus and jasper i bought also every Xbox 360 accessoir available also the HD DVD drive 😅 also im doing some Rgh to 3-4 xbox consoles so i can easy download any game and play on it i love the Xbox 360 i have also 3 New sealed ones and also i got the Blade dashboard to 🫨 only Love to the 360

You should consider opening it up and replacing the old thermal paste because you don't want to red ring this one even tho it might have a mb revision that fixed it it can still happen.
And also don't turn it on and off too frequently or else the solder will eventually crack under the cpu/GPU cause the heat and cooling.
@@lilclip6134 yeah that's a thing with those too I wish I knew about it years ago because I would turn mine on and off 4 times a day between gaming sessions

@@Wolf-or6ws that's good! But nonetheless if you want a 360 to last longer and have better thermals the replacing the thermal paste and cleaning out the system is highly recommended. Same applies to PC's and any other home console

Man, what i’d do to get my OG 360 back.. got it in 2006 but traded it in 2008 to get a PS3… I ended up buying a mint condition 360 slim last year for like 60 bucks. Thing looks like I just took it out of the box and came with all cables, 2 controllers, the chat pad, kinect (lol!) and GTA V! Didn’t have a hard drive unfortunately but buying another was only like $15.. anyway, I love it alot but nothing will ever replace my OG 360 and the experiences I had with it :(
not the original startup was the 2008 version. 2006 had wooshing blades

You have a Jasper 360 revision which is the most reliable 360 revision ever made and will outlast all the Slim revisions

The console has been updated to the most recent update provided by Microsoft yes. Most certainly not a loss, I did not buy this console solely for the OG dashboard, or operating system. I specifically purchased this Xbox 360 console for its purpose as a console in general. That said I also would note that I purchased this Xbox 360 to relive the nostalgia of the early 2000s to mid 2000s gaming era….And most importantly this Xbox 360 was also purchased as a kickstart for my UA-cam channel. Dude why? If that was the case why not buy a slim model? These consoles are prone to burning out. The only reason to buy one of these is for the old dashboard and to possibly mod and fix the over heating problem. It’s your console so it’s up to you what you do with it but a lot of us here can agree that it’s a real shame you updated it for everyday use.
@@jakeplissken699 you do have a point. These were the models that would melt the soldering on the motherboard due to it overheating. If I remember correctly. These core/arcade models had a failure rate of 70%. I went through at least 7 systems between 2005-2008 till the elite model came out
