Updating a Kitchen, Removing Pillars and Installing a Barn Door

In this kitchen transformation, we were able to bring SO much more function to this space! There were decorative pillars that were dividing the kitchen and living room areas, so we removed those which allowed us them to build a custom beverage bar with a counter, storage and beautiful open shelving. We also built this beautiful and huge island that created so much more prep space! The small pantry with the standard door made the kitchen feel pretty basic so we updated the door with a beautiful barn door and it immediately elevated this kitchen and made it a true custom kitchen!
