I used fentanyl for my back for years. It always frustrates me seeing anyone from law enforcement/prosecutors talk about how they are heroically fighting the war on drugs. First of all, they're not winning. They haven't even made a noticeable dent. @Decembers Very Own @John Hurley You are both right in a way, yes Fentanyl is measured in micrograms and yes you do have to have a basic understanding of chemistry to break down fentanyl and sell it for a larger profit even in the most crude ways, one example is pressing fake pills to look like other opioids but using the fentanyl. Or so simple as to use a cutter to cut the fentanyl to make it less pure increasing your quantity and therefore turning a profit that way, which technically I would say is still requiring a basic knowledge of chemistry. When my doctor prescribed me OxyCotin and Xanax for my anxiety, I asked him if it was addicting. He said it can be. I refused to take it and figured that I'd deal with the anxiety on my own. Probably best thing that I ever did. I still have the anxiety but it is better than being addicted.

What most commenters don't know about is living with an addict. Especially when you had kids before the habit began. You have to stay strong for your kids, and at the same time yourself. You have to also put up with the SO when they are having withdrawals, when they are trying to quit and they get sick. When they become someone you dont know but your kids are too young to notice or realize there is a problem. That's why she loves him. That's why she wanted to change him. That's why she wanted to get away from him, and yet she still wanted to grow old with him. That's how it is when you are with someone like that. You are constantly in a loop.

When my doctor prescribed me OxyCotin and Xanax for my anxiety, I asked him if it was addicting. He said it can be. I refused to take it and figured that I'd deal with the anxiety on my own. Probably best thing that I ever did. I still have the anxiety but it is better than being addicted.

My brother died from this drug. He was prescribed patches by the ER after a serious car accident. I miss him.
What most commenters don't know about is living with an addict. Especially when you had kids before the habit began. You have to stay strong for your kids, and at the same time yourself. You have to also put up with the SO when they are having withdrawals, when they are trying to quit and they get sick. When they become someone you dont know but your kids are too young to notice or realize there is a problem.
That's why she loves him. That's why she wanted to change him. That's why she wanted to get away from him, and yet she still wanted to grow old with him. That's how it is when you are with someone like that. You are constantly in a loop.
