    I used fentanyl for my back for years. It always frustrates me seeing anyone from law enforcement/prosecutors talk about how they are heroically fighting the war on drugs. First of all, they're not winning. They haven't even made a noticeable dent. Second is the perception that they always make that everyone that's taken a drug acts like an out of control wildman on a bad lsd trip, or the stoned out of their mind, catatonic, can't move, pothead.

      This is true. A person in actual chronic pain can’t go to a doctor and be prescribed pain medicine without being sliced open and made to jump through hoops to obtain a script for medicine that won’t even control their pain level. But yet thousands of tons of illegal drugs can flood into our country every day, no problem! You have to ask yourself, exactly what is the end result that the government that controls everything is seeking?!!! Population control maybe??😢

    • @jacolbygarcie9452
      @jacolbygarcie9452 4 роки тому +10

      @Decembers Very Own @John Hurley You are both right in a way, yes Fentanyl is measured in micrograms and yes you do have to have a basic understanding of chemistry to break down fentanyl and sell it for a larger profit even in the most crude ways, one example is pressing fake pills to look like other opioids but using the fentanyl. Or so simple as to use a cutter to cut the fentanyl to make it less pure increasing your quantity and therefore turning a profit that way, which technically I would say is still requiring a basic knowledge of chemistry. But on the other hand the drug epidemic now days is handled and perceived much different than say for example in the 80s with the crack epidemic which was by and large affecting the black community much much more than the white community, and yes race does play a factor when analyzing this as well as many other things in this country but u would say this, it’s not that the the government or U.S. society in general is looking at or treating the drug epidemic differently now that white people are at the forefront, I think it’s more that over the past few decades society as a whole as become more aware and more knowledgeable of drugs and there affects and there for outlooks and response to to drugs have and are changing, but to say that when prescription pills started lurking there way into suburbs and white communities in the late 90s and flooded in, in the early 2000s then making way for cheaper alternatives to follows closely behind into these predominantly white areas, to say that that did not have an affect on policy and the way we handle the drug epidemic would be a lie. So the truth is does race play a part in this? Sure, it plays a part in every aspect of reality just as every part of reality affects the others. The truth that no one likes to hear is it’s a very very complicated issue that takes very deep complicated thought, and that’s just not that popular to acknowledge because most people don’t have the capacity for such thought or they just don’t have time. But to say it is white supremacy that plays a major part is just not true. I myself don’t think it exists as the media and people that have adopted this victim mentality would like for you to believe, I live in the south just about as Deep South as you can get and it’s supposed to be the most racist of them all. I’ve seen true racism very very very few times in my life. Truth be told it just doesn’t play a part in our daily life down here and that’s anyone of any race or religion. And the more you talk about it the more you breath life into that idea and keep it alive. The last half is just an option but who am I to speak.

    Funny how when the crack epidemic was happening there was no videos humanising the victims of that crisis. Instead they were labelled as criminals and sent to jail, ooh especially private for profit jails. But now this is a pandemic and these guys are victims. Unfortunately this is the world we live in, all animals are born equal but some animals are more equal than other. Great lessons from Animal farm.

      Easy to say but once you do it, it's different. I use to sell a decent bit of weed and I said I'd stop at $5,000, butI had people who relied on me as well.
      I ended up getting to $11,000 and stopped but it's hard. IT'S FAST MONEY.

    What most commenters don't know about is living with an addict. Especially when you had kids before the habit began. You have to stay strong for your kids, and at the same time yourself. You have to also put up with the SO when they are having withdrawals, when they are trying to quit and they get sick. When they become someone you dont know but your kids are too young to notice or realize there is a problem.
    That's why she loves him. That's why she wanted to change him. That's why she wanted to get away from him, and yet she still wanted to grow old with him. That's how it is when you are with someone like that. You are constantly in a loop.
