We always would line the bill up on the rim edge and smack the other end with a ten pound sledge, took a little coordination but could do it super fast and seemed like it was less effort.
@@gearheadgregwi the only time I used spoons on alloy wheels was 25 years ago before the touchless machines. The wheels were put on heavy towels and we would @ least double over clean shop rags to go between the spoon and wheel

If you break the backside of the wheel down first you don't have to flip it twice

@steveschenck9277 ps: I'd never use spoons on alloys. I'm probably going to weld together a bead breaker jig. Need to replace a TPMS sensor.
