2007 Chevy Cobalt No Start Fuel Trim Problem

Odd No Start condition caused by a Whacked Out Fuel Trim setting. Not exactly sure what caused it, but perhaps a computer communication error?? The video starts with the fix, then goes through a bunch of steps that lead up to finding the problem that you can watch for fun it you like.
Perhaps disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes would reset the computer, but we solved it with a fancy engine diagnostic device that allows the operator to reset certain things. The average person may need to tow the car to a dealership, or repair shop.
For me it was just one day everything was fine, and the next day it acted like it was out of gas. I was just glad it was not something like a slipped timing chain, etc..

It would of been nice if you showed how to reset the fuel trim.

My friend did it with his $2,000+ diagnostic tool/DTC reader, so the average guy can't do it. My $300 DTC reader won't do it. Maybe disconnect the battery for 12 hours, but I think I tried that.

Of course I had a jeep that did the same thing just press the unlock button on the keychain thingy twice and there you go she should start right up of course you got electric start it'll start the car yes but not if the security light is blinking so just hit the unlock button two times and let's take care of it

The security code on the key fob most likely went bad and needs to be reset.

That's why it starts with the remote start and not while turning the key.

I'm dealing with the exact same thing on an 07. Wish I knew more about the security and the fob reset or what you may have found.
