I love Chucky’s appearance throughout the original movie. Him gradually turning more human looking is something they should have kept up in the sequels as that’s a key point in the story that he doesn’t have an infinite amount of time to get out of the doll.

The second movies doll was a fan favorite so they ended up keeping that idea in the rest of the films
Kevin Yagher is a genius since he already had both Freddy AND Chucky at his disposal, meaning he worked on two of America's several horror icons. Nice.

There was supposedly only one CGI scene in the movie. They wouldn't even have had enough money to do the whole movie in CGI. It had a low budget.
I think CGI wasn’t used for the whole movie because the cgi wouldn’t look so go at the time.
