You are my little island of safety tonight. I’ve been struggling with a particularly intense anxiety freeze for over a week and I can’t tell you how comforting your videos were for me. Thank you thank you thank you for making these ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Hi mam plz could ubpls help me out in the course of change your brain through neuroplasticity, I could take it as free course. So could u provide me the coupon code???
We all know why we're here. (Everyone commenting on this I wish you all the best and even though it's hard, there will always be somebody going through the same thing... You are not alone.)
@@EL-MUTAZTrust me, it will be ok, I wish you the best in life and to succeed. If it helps maybe make a bucket list of things you want to achieve in your life :)
The number 1 is the one that I physically can't do. I simply can't take a deep breath. The lungs can't fully expand. I think cov!d damaged both the autonomic nervous/muscle systems. Apparently, everyone with Long Cov!d or post cov!d syndrome experiences not just shortness of breath due to what could be respiration/ diaphragm muscle freeze/malfunction along with abnormal high pulse rate upon slight exertion but also malfunction with the LES (Lower Esophageal Sphincter Muscles) and swallowing muscles.
Agreed. I love your videos Psych2Go, and I'm surprised to be the first comment. the Therapy in a Nutshell and your videos are really helping me right now
I just started this this week. I find its important to do it the very 1st thing, before other things cloud my emotions. This helps me throughout my day, even!
I was on the brink of an anxiety attack and this video really helped me calm down and to ground my emotions and body. Thank you SO much for this video!!!!! Sending love to everyone!❤️
I just performed these exercises and my anxiety immediately lowered and I felt more balanced as I was standing and began walking. Thank you so much for all that you do for us listeners! God Bless You!
Wow, thank you! I woke up with the daily anxiety I feel before work and came across your video in desperation. I watched the previous videos in this series, then did the exercise as you walked through it an immediately all my queasiness disappeared!!! The feeling of relief was so strong that I burst into tears! Thank you. Thank you so much for providing this resource. This is a huge turning point for me.
So glad I found this, sometimes it can be hard to remember doing this when I’m experiencing a trigger. Your voice and presence have a very calming effect too. Thank you for making this video!
This exercise is incredible, I did this only once & just for that brief moment I felt I claimed back my old self, I’m usually always on edge, ringing ears, sweating, muscle tension. But it felt like I escaped some of that temporarily. This I must practice regularly. Thankyou
I found you today and wow, I noticed I felt more relaxed and I didn’t know why and then you explained and it makes perfect sense and it’s so easy!! Thank you
Wow I’m doing this and pausing-grounding-couch carpet tv remote- visual- candleholders speaker flowers in vase-sound fridge humm range- air conditioning- love this feeling! I am mellow right now -what just happened to my overactive spazzing cortex? Gotta love this girl!
Thank you from all my heart that you share your knowledge. I like your movies and your calming voice. This tool is really helpful and I like its simplicity.
I do 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 method all the time this was similar but at the same time different I like this one better. It helped everything immediately. Thank you
I ended up finding you. Today!thank gawd because I have gained so much from grounding and your video. Your my angel. Thank you very very very much tears of happiness I can't believe it took me this long. so simple and so effective thank you
I've been having a constant panic attack for two weeks now, I haven't really slept in that time as well. My tummy is not wanting me to put food in it. I threw up twice when I tried eating proper meals, so I kind of just eat little chunks when I can bare to get something down. My skin is burning and I have developped a harsh rash on my face, neck and bag from all the stress. It's itching. But for those couple of minutes I actually felt safe. So thank you sooooo muuuuch.
Thank you so very much for this video, I was having some anxiety and panic this evening and this made me feel much better. I am so grateful for you❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you, I like the simple way you described how to get present to the moment. I feel getting into your body, feeling the body and grounding yourself in the body is really essential there, so we don't just get lost in our head thinking about what our senses gives us in terms of inputs, but also kind of "experience" them in our bodies.
i love you for this great reminder thanks a lot. Once my mother triggers me I lose focus and get out of touch. My actions get irrational ..this is really really helpful. Wow. Thanks again.
Sometimes I watch this video then I write whats on my mind. Then I erase those words. Makes me feel better. Seriously. My life isnt typical at all. Not even sure any human can relate honestly but we all have our way. That helps me. Thank you therapy in a nutshell. You help more then you know.. I know.. I need help probably.
Thanks! it's funny but when I started making videos I was most insecure about my voice, I always thought I had a strange voice, but a lot of people have commented that my voice is calming, so that's changed my perspective, thanks!
Thank you. Your approach and professionalism are reassuring and helpful. Do you have another video without the white pause. That slide is jolting! Any chance you have another one or could make one? Love your work.
pretty sweet, worked like a charm. Thank you. Also is there a PDF, GUIDE, BOOK LET etc, with these information? i'd love to get my hands on it. Thank you and appreciate it.
I always have a resting heart around 100bpm. I figured it was anxiety. But it went down to 80 bpm the first time I did this. It's still high for body at rest but I'll keep doing it daily. I was first scared if I had a bigger health condition.
U dont know how much this helped me. Today i had a coyote of paranoid thoughts and that made anxious because straight away i thought that i was going crazy. But actually I was to deep in my thoughts so I believed in all the negative thoughts that came in, but I just realised that it’s just anxiety and that I need to present
Yes I hsve been aware of the benefit of grounding but now I know the importance of regular Repeat during the day that's a major factor so will be trying that thanks so much ❤
thank you so much for the grounding exercises. you dont know how much this means to someone with chronic anxiety- which keeps triggering off throat constricting, tongue retracting, involuntary breath holding
You are my Guardian angel 💖 thanks a lot ma'am, it may be simple technique from your point of view but for me it's a big thing and I feel very different now
Is there a video addressing the awful feeling of going into a work or even school environment each day, especially the first day of the week or the anxiety on Sunday evening (or whatever day it is). Not necessarily and awful work environment, just something about the first plunge in each week.
qhat also helps me is if your negative thoughts start to creep up into your head, just imagine a stop sign blocking that thought. It has personally helped me as i am trying to control my anxiety.
Love your videos! Love your calming voice too. Wondering if you would consider doing a video of affirmations? I often wish I had a video to play with affirmations that help calm the anxious person, such as "you are safe" and "you are worthy of happiness", etc. Your voice would be perfect for this type of video.
Funnily enough, I actually recognized this exercise on my own on a day I was taking a walk to calm down (I like to do that a lot). As I was walking, I noticed that focusing on my environment and my sensations really calmed down. It was even natural to just feel the touch of my own hands and the wind and stuff like that. I've been trying this for a while and it works most of the time. Kinda reassuring to hear your other video where you mention these become more and more effective as you do them.
Thanks I've been struggling all my life with anxiety and not once did any of my therapists mention the grounding technique.. I'm now 36😡 Oh well thanks again!!😃
Thank You. Very helpful. And it worked!!!!! So if I do the grounding exercises on the regular when not anxious will that decrease my incidence of anxiety?
Anxiety is a underlying feeling of not being good enough or being lower than people around ypu in alot of cases.. believe in your own worth, we are all equals when you take away all the layers..
Thank you. This is helpful, strategic and concise. God bless you.
Pixelated Media thanks! Glad I could help
Thanks again!!!!
I am soiling myself daily so I feel pretty grounded lately.
Thank you very much for free help, not a lot of people can afford counselors and this little snippet does help

1. Take deep breath and breath out.
2. Touch, see, hear 3 things in environment and describe them in mind.
3. Notice how body feels.
Thanks, reading this is easier than watching the video and waiting
