I have Genu Valgum (knock knees). I started learning weightlifting from a coach 2 months ago. He told me this week that with my condition, he won't have me do Snatch & Clean and Jerk because it's bad for my knees with my condition. I should focus on getting stronger with other activities. His logic seems reasonable, but I'm in denial. I want to do cleans and snatches, but not if it will compromise my knee health over the long run especially with my case of knocked knees. What is your opinion? I'll probably go to a doctor to get a proper evaluation, but I am curious about your opinion too. I'm 25 Years old btw. So it's a bit late to fix the knock knees now I believe.
LOVE
all you do to help everyone
GOD Bless you!
never thought this could be done unilaterally. really gonna help someone like me with a very weak core
This seems like the "dead bug" exercise, only you keep the arms and legs in an isometric hold at the bottom of the movement.
Love those dish holds! Any influence from Stuart McGill on these ?
