@@Individualati Cardinal Zen was not given support under Francis when he was imprisoned in China. He was allowed to attend Pope Benedict XVI funeral where Francis snubbed him. Cardinal Zen is a very holy man and we can see that Francis will not tolerate anyone who lives a good and holy life. He is hurting many Catholics. We are called to be faithful to God and we must discern whether those whom we follow are also faithful to God and His teachings.

1. Is Truth subservient to obedience to the pope?
2. Was St. Paul in schism for publicly withstanding St. Peter to his face, as recorded in Galatians?
3. What does he know that we do not?
4. Does he have “deep church” knowledge he is aware of and that he cannot, in good conscience, give his obedience to?
5. By remaining silent and giving the appearance of obedience to the pope is he endangering his flock and thus guilty of not warning the faithful (Ezekiel 3 & 33) by omission of teaching Truth?
6. He will no doubt be excommunicated by a tribunal that is on record and by fact teaching falsehoods. Will we be required to give assent and obedience to those who “have the buildings but not the True Faith”?
Frankly I would trust them more if they did ANYTHING about Germany and the abuse of the blessing permission exhibited by Fr. Martin and the like. But they are not even handed. Or so it seems to me.

Can one be in schism with an apostate church?
I think the schism will be between faithful Catholics who now have to try to discern following bergoglio as pope or taking the position of ab vigano. So a split within the Church.

@@stacycharrette8909 I think Vigano is right that there are 2 Churches, the Catholic Church which remains unchanged and the conciliar, synodal church. Both exist in the same space but are diametrically opposed to each other. I am a member of the former one and, God willing, always will be. As Vigano says it is an honour to be excluded from the latter one.
Canon 212 allows Catholics to voice their concerns about Church matters. That includes the invalidity of Bergoglio.
St Catherine of Siena did not hesitate to speak her mind about the anti-pope crisis of her day.
Our own situation here as to who is or is not the pope is not novel to our time. It has occurred before. And those who lived before had to decide, on the basis of their own reason, who the true pope was.
St Catherine of Siena did not sit around and wait for the cardinals to resolve the problem. Rather, in no uncertain terms she told them that they had installed Satan on the throne of Peter and so they deserved to be tortured.
Of course there are matters of Catholic faith which are not attainable through reason alone. But those things are not at issue here. The question of the identity of a true pope is not inherently a matter of Catholic faith, but rather relates to questions of actual material facts.
Jesus commanded us to love God with our whole mind. The mind is the seat of reason. We must use our reason to know the truth as regards Bergoglio’s invalidity.
Jesus also commanded us to be wise as serpents. Again, a call to use our minds.
What is not acceptable is for us to appeal to some shallow excuse to attempt to justify our failure to employ our minds, especially when our minds are the only means we have, to come to the truth of this matter of the papacy.
Always remember what St Paul wrote about the necessity of each of us having a love of truth in order to be saved. Those who have a love of truth must use their minds to attain to the truth of this matter of the papacy.

Dr, Taylor Marshall gave a good analysis of Archbishop Vigano's rational for his actions, even though he does not agree with him on all points.
It is not a difficult or confusing decision. unity is found in God, not man. I suggest you visit Priests for the Restoration of Catholic Life for the defense of the position God has revealed. You all seem to relegate God to a second post in the Church. He is second place in the Modernist church but not the Catholic Church.
How did the Church depose the previous 33 anti-Popes? What Vigano is doing is what past prelates did with anti-Popes. Vigano's positions are accurate. Sad we have too many Priests, Bishops, and Cardinals who don't have the courage to be ready to give their lives for Jesus Christ. I stand with Vigano. Because I want my Church back!!!

I believe that "many are called but few are chosen" refers to Catholics - as they have the fullness of the Faith. In other words, it might be the few that dare to speak out in good conscience - such as Vigano that will be saved. It is about love of God and neighbor. It is about courage. We can't judge the heart of anyone - no matter what position they take...only God can see their intent - whether it is a pure intent. That is what we will be judged on. I am not, of course, speaking to going against the true Catholic Faith - just that at any one time things might not be as clear cut as to the situation with the issues in our Church. For me, I just research what The Church has always taught and let that be my guide.
Vigano will be lost as he’s being excommunicated which means he is being cut off from the body of Christ! Anyone who sides with him will in a sense also be excommunicated!

The current crisis is worse than the Arian Heresy! We need a new Saint Athanasius not more novus order trained priest that over Intellectualize everything and put it all in such a PRETZEL that the Flock just gives up. Novus order priest are trained that way because everything has to be explained such as TRUE PRESENCE because their illicit modern liturgy doesnt line up with TRUE PRESENCE thereby the need for an explanation. In the True Catholic Mass theres no need to explain. Even a humble uneducated person; a 5 year old understands CHRIST IS TRULY PRESENT because of the Liturgy.

And all us lay people have no authority here. Let us pray and carry the cross of all this anguish in Holy Mother Church offering all to Our Lady of Sorrows to clean up all our self love and perhaps enoble our sorrows as prayer for the Pope and Church. That attitude of being over cautious to avoid slander is what granted too many priests and bishops sustained impunity as countless victims were scandalized and their bonds with the mystical body became damaged. There can be lots of evidence to support Vigano’s claims, but since things are being handled behind closed doors, we don’t know. Just as Pope Francis should not be a victim of slander neither should Vigano.

But it is not for a lay person to declare a pope or anyone else a heretic.If you are concerned about someone's theology then just don't read any of it and stick to the saints and pray. The lawful Bishop of Rome, as the successor to St. Peter, bears full responsibility for all of the ills which currently beset the Church. Pope Benedict XVI was only too pleased to step down from the Petrine Office, since, by doing so, he ceased to be directly personally liable for the ongoing ills of the Church. Pope Francis is, of course, the lawful Bishop of Rome, the successor of St. Peter and personally responsible for all of the ills which currently beset the Church. I expect he wishes that he was not in that position! However, he is. The arguments put forward by Archbishop Vigano are unworthy of a man of his intellectual calibre. He is, obviously, a very unhappy man.
If he were happy I would not give him a second thought. He is unhappy for the Church, rightfully so, but you cannot judge his heart. My heart is happy in Jesus, but I am very unhappy with the suffering Body of Christ - I am old, and it wasn't always so.
He isn’t a cardinal. Most of Vigano’s claims turned out to be false and it turns out Vigano didn’t follow up on credible accusations against McCarrick when he was papal nuncio. Also, papal resignations can’t be done by pressure. There is no question Francis is pope because of peaceful and universal acceptance of his pontificate at the time of his election. So, it is not just an issue that Vigano doesn’t have the authority to say Francis isn’t the pope but it is an issue that would falsify the Catholic Church if Vigano is right. Francis isn’t being selective in “persecuting” anyone. Francis is the one who opened the current investigation on Rupnik. It is weird there is mercy shown here for Vigano on laicization but the same mercy isn’t extended to Pope Francis in accurately representing his pontificate. The exact opposite of what Bishops are called to do. I think you may not have understood. He has completely undermined the authority of the Pope and superseded himself.

@@JohnLeaps That's a common position but it's wrong. Vigano isn't trying to change the Church as Luther tried. That was a whole different thing. It would be more accurate to compare Vigano to Savonarola.
