The Yamaha HS650A Hi-Hat stand is packaged with the DTX560 kit. I believe it's at the bottom of the pad box and there's no way to remove this stand from the kit. I bought my DTX500 through Kraft and i use it to trigger the kick drum on my acoustic kit. I also have a practice pad on my kit with a D-drum red shot trigger on it, for a wood-block sound. It works well, and triggers nicely. But when I hit the pad and the kick drum at the same time, the kick sounds very distorted and wrong, even though it sounds great on its own. Plus, I find that when I am editing settings, hitting the kick/pad does not change the display, like on this video.Please help me!

Does the stereo fixed high-hat on the dtx522k have that detailed open/close mechanic like the high hat of the dtx560k?
