Omg, so adorable, I’ve never seen these tiny animals. What a wonderful mommy trying to find food for her babies. Thank you for sharing this video.❤️👍🏻👏🏼
They're obviously leaving food random places for her, like an obstacle course. The net with an egg on it has a perfect hole cut in the corner for her to go down with the egg, and made for it not to break on the way down.
@@groowanderer Since the narrator stated the team set up a "rigged nest" (with video equipment) then creating a treasure hunt of sorts makes sense. Maybe they were trying to ascertain the stoat's scavenging skills?
My dog found one of these fursnake babies the other day, in the living room, in his bed! Luckily, he's terrified of every live animal that's smaller than him. I had him for 2 days, He's at a rehab center, now. Absolutely no fear of humans, to the point he fell asleep in my hand while I was cleaning up his tote. Never even tried to bite, or escape. I think he was inside for a day or so before I found him, so the microwaved socks and canned cat food most likely bought him over lol.
This weasel has the easiest hunting job of any, she returns to the same place to find dead ready to eat animals every time she returns, if Robert packaged them we could call it a weasel marketplace.
@@Ddub1083 I want to know what Robert E Fuller know about the Ring-tailed lemurs corsairs Badrang and Tramun Clogg What do you think of this my comment ???
I have an urban mongoose that lives across the street. I toss him shrimp sometimes, and bread for the birds. One evening, I was watching him through binoculars after I tossed the shrimp and bird bread over the fence and I saw him wander into the doves' area who were eating the bread and suddenly he sprung at one of the big doves, striking it lightning fast, grabbed it and ran under the building with it! I mean, I know it happens but what a surprise to see it in person.
I honestly hate how much animals mean to me. It's simply heart breaking to see one die. I know it's nature and I have no hard feelings against it. But it really makes it so I don't watch many wildlife videos. Thank you though for the post. Such still needs to be shown, no matter how tough it is to see.

The "Transylvanian" Stout is the ultimate serial killer of all weasels & animals 💯 250 mice , 4 rabbits & 1 elk calf in one single day is the biggest record they found stashed away in a T-Stouts dead body dumpsite (corpse chamber)!!!!
Yaw don't watch enough weasels maaaannn. Them things unpredictable because one day they're hanging out with the Bunnies then all of a sudden they try to kill them.
Well yeah that's Nature. In most mammal species very few young survive until adulthood. To have a constant population (so no overpopulation and no extinction) you only need two successful young per female. Most mammals have 3 to 6 youngs per litter and multiple litters in their life of all successfully reach adulthood and reproduced there will be overpopulation XD
Glad you are enjoying watching Bandita the stoat who lived in my garden in Yorkshire, UK
What happened to Bandita?
Hi
Give her an egg for me.
STELLAR video work Robert. You bring the best of nature to our desktops. Thank You.
Do they really kill everything?
Her pushing that egg around was so extremely adorable

Was that a dead mouse inside a children's watering can, a chunk of meat in a playground and an egg randomly laying on a roof net? 😂
Yeah, the random egg in yard netting? Weird.
I think the yards owner is feeding them XD

I dropped a case of good beer while carrying it and almost getting to my car, I know how the stoat feels about that egg = (
🤣😂🤣
What kind of beer?
one of the worst tradegies man can experience :( sorry for your loss
A whole case, huh? What a tragedy. I did the same about a month ago. It took me weeks to get over it. Just give it time, man. Time heals all.

How agile this creature is! As said here, its locomotion is of beauty. Unexpectedly so for an animal of long body + relatively short legs!
So glad she's able to find ample food in her area.. :)
I feel one of the siblings really cared for the runt, they we always checking on it, even sleeping with it when it died.
I know it’s nature but I can’t help feeling so sad for the little one 😭
