Jujutsu Kaisen is like the opposite of Naruto. The main character learns how to control his inner demon right out the gate. The Sasuke type character gets his ass beat in every fight. And the Sakura type character is actually useful.
Megumi doesn’t get his ass beat in every fight, that’s only in the beginning, it’s sort of like a Jogo situation (but to a much lesser extent) where Jogo is extremely powerful but everybody he goes up against are absolute monsters so he seems weak by comparison
