You are 100 percent right. My local dealer is having the same issue. Rows of Tacomas and Tundras in almost every trim and they are discounting $2,000 off the MSRP right off the bat.
Up in my area of Canada here on the east coast, there's maybie 2 tacos on each lot. No discounts, no Incentives, low trade values on competitor models, and 6+ % intrest rates... Pretty wild how toyota is still around. Average Taco sport cost is around $57K cdn and the Tundras are around $76K cdn.
Been bingeing price negotiation videos. I'm gonna pull the trigger on a 2024 TRD Sport as soon as I get the deal I want. I know a lot of people want their trucks to last 300k like 3rd gen but I honestly won't even keep my vehicles for that long. I don't drive much and for the short time I spend in my vehicles, I would prefer a better ride/performance. If i can talk down the price of 4th Gen to just a little higher price than the 3rd gen, then for me it's definitely nicer to have the new ones
Enjoy your channel! I think you have good info and value your input usually but to me on the new Tacoma as a 3rd gen owner. Yes great deals on a first year model 2024 TERD. To me that’s not value…. ALL IVE GOTTA SAY IS DRILL BABY DRILL! FRACK!! V6 is coming back!! V8 is coming back to Tundra
Toyota is cooked, and I'm a huge 2021 and older Toyota fan, but the engineering/design choices in these new vehicles are shit, the legendary reliability/durability of Toyota is gone in one vehicle generation
Dealers won’t budge on price Toyota that’s is especially on the TRD model. Asking for 5k off the think your crazy yet they just let them sit on the lot to rot!
yep, buy what you want , I honestly like the Trailhunter and would seriously look at it in the future even though I said I wouldn't have another Toyota, even after trading off my 23 Tacoma Pro in September. man, but I sure love my Gladiator and Wrangler. like you said, but what YOU want and care nothing of what us boneheads say.😊
I would highly recommend not buying the new tacoma or tundra right now. There are tons of problems being reported. Plus i've seen 2 2024 owners trade them in already and go back to 3rd gen. Miss the reliability and longevity I assume.
@@steven4315 i don't get political on here. But I am excited to see what changes the different administration brings to the auto industry. I did not like where it's been the last few years. Maybe some good changes will come
@steven4315 definitely a good thing if more jobs come back to the states. But Toyota and all other manufacturers that get affected by this would 100% jack up their prices. No matter, we just won't buy anything new like we did this year until dealers drop their prices again
the horrific decisions to add a turbo to the engine and shrink the engine aside, these new Toyota trucks look terrible, like they tried to make them look like a transformer in the 2007 movie
It's not a deal if it breaks.
Time to dismantle the EPA and remove the junk from our vehicles. Make Trucks Great Again!
💯

mAGA. Maybe Trump will make Toyota not import anymore and only work within USA 🇺🇸
Hi Jason 2024 Tacoma's are discounted around 4K at some Toyota dealerships here in NH.
“Im junk” lol you tell ‘em samko
I had mine for over 8 months now there the best tacomas made in love mine
Dumb guy has a tacoma for 8 months and claims they are the best tacomas. 😂😂😂😂😂
@@davidchenette1091 perfect. Glad you ate loving it
I’m more wondering if the 25 Tacoma will get any upgrades? Bigger transmission cooler? Transmission fix?
@@red.riot.2280 excited to see myself. But I doubt anything will change much
@ I agree. Just wishful thinking. Love the videos. Thanks for the reply.

Jason, if you had to choose a 2025 Frontier or a 2025 Tacoma, what would you pick? and why?
@@axellness 25 frontier. I trust it more and think it's a better buy.
A 4cyl that gets 18 mpg? LOL

We should by all the 2024’s I don’t find the ‘25’s of any truck brand reliable as their predecessors
I got 5k off a 2024 Tacoma TRD sport.

First year of a total redesign......gotta pass
Quality is the most importance, no turbos
If Trump follows thru on his promise of universal tariffs on all imports including Mexico and Canada, expect production to return to the US.
It won't return.
