- Volkswagen has launched a special TSI Edition of the Polo.
Volkswagen Polo Price and Variants: The Polo is priced from Rs 5.83 lakh to Rs 9.60 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in three variants: Trendline, Comfortline Plus, and Highline Plus. The new TSI Edition is based on the Highline Plus variant and is priced at Rs 7.89 lakh.
Volkswagen Polo Engine, Transmission and Mileage: The Polo is now a petrol-only offering. It is powered by the same 1.0-litre MPI petrol engine, albeit in BS6 guise, that makes 75PS/95Nm and comes mated to a 5-speed MT. The BS6 Polo is also offered with a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol motor that produces 110PS/175Nm and comes paired to either a 6-speed MT or 6-speed AT. While the 1.0-litre MPI engine returns 17.75kmpl, the 1.0-litre TSI unit offers 18.24kmpl. The TSI Edition is offered only with the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that comes mated to the 6-speed MT.
Volkswagen Polo Features: Volkswagen offers the Polo with cruise control, auto AC with rear AC vents, rain-sensing wipers, and a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Standard safety features on offer include rear parking sensors and dual front airbags. The TSI Edition comes with special decals on the sides, TSI decals at the bottom of the rear doors, gloss black roof and spoiler, black ORVMs, and a honeycomb grille.
Volkswagen Polo Rivals: It rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno/Toyota Glanza, Honda Jazz, Hyundai Elite i20, and Tata Altroz.

Abs problem definitely comes bro. My friend using highline plus variant from 2019. New car within 3 months abs sensors gone in front. Due to water impact. Costs around 9500 for both sensors. And recently I planned to buy polo. So I asked him about details. He said again he changed all the four abs sensors. So almost about 20k. This problem will come again and again and eat your pocket. And he told why vw not fixing permanently ? So he suggest me to go for some other car like swift or new i20. But other than that vw cars are fun to drive and heavy build. Only thing is if u have money go for polo. Else think many times before u buy a vw car. 😍
