    Bars is the only event where I get completely lost trying to keep up. I appreciate how you go through the routines making them easy to understand 🤸

      THank you and I am glad the videos help you. They are fun to make. It is cool slowing it all down and looking closer to really see how great what they do is. All my best.

    What I love about your analysis is that you take the time to go through and name/evaluate each element. I’m a big gymnastics fan, but I never was a gymnast. I’ve learned to follow all the elements on the other apparatuses but bars elements often confuse me. This helps me a lot! Thanks!

      Thank you and glad you like it. I am very familiar with the mens terms as I am a male gymnast but the women have been a learning curve. I am getting better. I understand the gymnastics and techniques though and like to look closely at them. thanks.

    Awesome channel, Lance. Hope you keep it up. I remember you coming to our gymnastics center back in late 80’s, Farmers Branch Invitational. You were the only elite at the competition. We were in awe. Good to see you doing this.

      Wow man, that is so cool. I remember farmers branch very well. That meat always went long and was huge and got out around midnight ha ha ha. That was a really cool time. Thanks for the message. I think that’s really cool. I’m having fun with this channel and I’m glad people like it. I’m still a fan of gymnastics. Hope you’re well and all my best as always. Rock on.

      One less kip. One less toe 1/2 handstand. Should be at least 0.2 more in E score.

    Eu particularmente gosto mais de antes, principalmente quando ela conectava o van... É incrível a altura do lançamento que ela faz vindo do Maloney, acho que ninguém nunca fez tão alto.

    How easy is it to accidentally go the wrong direction when hitting a perfect handstand? Does that happen? What do the gymnasts do in that scenario? I’ve always wondered. Please enlighten me. 🤷‍♀️😀

    • @OLYMPIANTEACHES-bh6gp
      @OLYMPIANTEACHES-bh6gp  4 місяці тому +2

      It does happen occasionally. Each gymnast responds a bit different but the options they choose from are to do a half pirouette and continue swinging and get back to the direction they are suppose to OR come off the bars and take the fall deduction and re-mount to finish their routine. Some athletes may even have a plan B routine in case they do fall over and they would go into routine plan B. Thanks for the questions and my best.

      Hahah. You said it. I really think to a degree it depends who has the best day but since they are all in such good shape and very consistent, it is a real toss up. I have my favorite just like many other people do but either way, It just want them all to have a great competition and it will be exciting either way.
