Throwing a Platter on a Hydrobat Hump Mold

Hi Debbie! Thanks for asking. Because the wheel is in the round, I think this technique works best for round forms. However, slabs of clay can be draped onto the square forms. How long did you leave the clay in the mold before you remove from it? Thx

I believe it was just over 24 hours. You will want to monitor it because drying times will vary based on the humidity and dryness of the studio climate. Let us know if you try this technique, and how it goes for you! Happy making!
