    My SPRING INFO... READ BELOW
    FYI - This company has changed over to MWcomponents, they may require you to make a $40 dollar minimum purchase, otherwise they tack on a 15 dollar surcharge. So to avoid that, consider to buy 8 springs, and maybe get yourself options.
    Here is my latest suggestions on what to order
    (For 15.5 plus pound Rigs)
    10lb 1631 Springs - ORDER 4 (ATTN! - Require a Dremel to modify/flatten Ends!!!)
    See vid - • Shock Spring Experimen...
    Front and rear (Adjust collars to suit, since these are a bit long for the front)
    1631 - x4 (Recommend M2C zero rebound caps, and 4000-5000cst diff fluid)
    www.mwcomponen...
    (For 14 and below pound Rigs)
    9.5lb springs
    Front X2
    72377S (Recommend M2C zero rebound caps, and 3000-4000cst diff fluid)
    www.mwcomponen...
    8.2lb springs
    Rear X2
    72378S (Recommend M2C zero rebound caps, and 3000-40000cst diff fluid)
    www.mwcomponen...
    hope that helps
    You might as well buy all 8 because there’s a chance you might actually like the softer springs for your 15+ pound rig.

    I’m rebuilding my Arrma Notorious 6s after its 1st virgin run, 7 minutes at the SK8 park $100 fix but now new shocks, shock caps & fluid. Thanks for sharing your findings

    Dude, the springs info is amazing. I’ll be trying those 13-15 lbs springs on my EXB. As you know the Nero springs didn’t work out for me for my lighter truck. I currently have about 2k weight in my shocks with the stock springs which have been working out for me with my 14.5 lb truck, but always looking to improve. Thanks again!

    I will say, I love those fan covers! I had to go with HR Nero springs but they aren't 75mm, only around 68mm. Which is fine for now because I'm on road but yes, I may need different springs for off road. Very interesting, I think the springs are overlooked a lot.

    Hi I don't bash I just do regular driving and speed runs I like my car low for more air flow I have the arrma talion 6s exb what do u recommend.

    • @EastTactics
      @EastTactics  2 роки тому

      I personally enjoy more of a basher, which is why I went with the Kraton.
      The talion is a sweet rig tho, would probably be what I would pick up next. Of course I would completely tune it for bashing lol.
      If you like speed runs maybe you should look into the infraction. Might be right up your alley.

      Yeah maybe give them a call, or just experiment and try a different product. See if maybe the reason why it’s giving you issues because they’re out of stock. Hopefully that’s not the case. Let me know what you figure out

      @@EastTactics Which spring do you like the most for your setup so far?

    • @EastTactics
      @EastTactics  3 роки тому +2

      My load out is 16.2 pounds.
      I’m digging the 10548 more then the Nero currently.
      I recommend you order 8 springs to avoid paying the surcharge. I recommend you getting two spring load outs (8 springs)
      10548 x4 (for when or if you get over 16lbs)
      12477 x2 Front (14-15lbs)
      1631 x2 Back
      I’ve not yet tried the 12477/1631 on my 16 pound rig. They allow sag… which is nice for smoother running. Plan to test it. But get all eight to be golden.

  • @btdtgg
    @btdtgg 2 роки тому +1

    I hope you see this and can help me figure this out. I am building a custom from the ground up stretched 6s Kraton with 25mm tires. Not really a basher but it's heavy with all the JBI and M2C aluminum parts. It sits right now at 17.5lbs and that's without the ESC, 2x3s batteries, receiver box and the body. I have Tekno shocks in the front and rear with Arrma springs and 80wt fluid. Front are 85mm and rear 95mm. I tried the heaviest springs I could find which were the 6.2lb Arrma's and it just sags right down with no rebound. Should I go straight to the Nero springs? The Nero look too short though. 10548's maybe in all 4 corners? I'm in Canada so I would rather order extra springs as well just in case cause shipping is going to be killer.

    • @EastTactics
      @EastTactics  2 роки тому +1

      Get four 10548, and four 1631s
      The ends on the 1631s are not shaved flat, so you’ll have to do some dremel work on those, but they are I really nice to test out because they’re not quite as stiff, they’re a good in between. Just in case you’re finding you need a bit more plushness.
      But at that weight, The 10548s Might be what you need. They are the equivalent of Nero springs When doing a side-by-side squeeze comparison in my hands, just not too short.

    • @btdtgg
      @btdtgg 2 роки тому

      @@EastTactics Thank you. I ordered 4 of each. Curious as to the reason for using diff fluid in the shocks? I'm not using M2C emulsion caps or shock pistons. i am using a full set of emulsion Tekno shocks. They are flat pistons 4 x 1.8mm holes. I would hazard a guess that since they don't have the bypass system like the M2C ones diff fluid would be way too heavy?

    • @EastTactics
      @EastTactics  2 роки тому +1

      Yeah you’ll have to experiment. The diff fluid came in to play because these shocks springs are so much stronger that the massive increase in differential fluid is there to slow down the rebound.
      My testing has been done with the MTC shot caps, and they made a big difference because of how well they mitigate rebound. The 1631s are going to be much less stiff than 10548.
      Definitely throw the shocks on you want to try on without changing anything. And if it feels super bouncy start increasing the thickness of the shock fluid. I’d be curious what you come to.

      Mines of you for, and it actually keeps pretty cool because I put a 40 mm fan powered by a little 3S battery on the top.
      I have the RPM front bumper installed on both the front and rear of my vehicle. Acting as my skid plates.
      Check out my library of videos for details specifically on either my fans or the RPM bumpers. If you have any other questions let me know
