As a father and a spine expert, Brian Neuman, MD, has a message for parents who have questions about their kiddo's backs.
Pediatricians often refer children with back curves to spine surgeons, "I wouldn't get too worried about that." Dr. Neuman explains that we see patients with all types of curves, and if treatment is needed it can range from bracing to surgery.
