The movie was filmed in Oregon, and we actually go every year to Halloweentown!! It’s pretty cool 😂 you get to meet the characters too!! Except the grandma of course cause she passed away a while ago.
@@angielott83 everything is the way it is :) it has all the memorabilia in the jail and everything!! It’s pretty fascinating. There were a lot of battles on the Goonies house cause neighbors got mad about tourists so now someone who is a complete Goonies freak bought and is allowing tours!
@@emilyraine1333 it wouldn't be Halloween without watching all of the Halloweentown movies. Did you hear that the actress that played Marnie and Kal from the second movie are engaged?
I was forced and grew up on these movies. I now watch these willingly every year, they’re ingrained in my soul now. Halloween nostalgia is the best You should watch the other 3 movies
Your commentary on DCOMs is way more entertaining than the movies themselves. Thanks for watching this so the rest of us don't have to, ya really took one for the team Cooper.
So I live in Portland, just outside of where the movie was filmed and every Halloween there's a festival in the town it was filmed in and I went there for the first time last Halloween and it was the most surreal experience ever you HAVE to go
I remember watching this as a kid and thinking her being 13 was so old I was like wtf ur telling me she can't go out??? Um She's thirteen?? Lmao i literally had no idea and I used to think Ariel was an adult so- lmao
IM SO GLAD WE HAD THE SAME REACTION TO DYLAN. He's just a little nerd who wants to sit at home and watch national geographic, and I love him. The Only Character Ever in these movies.
I always thought that I'm the problem, because this movie never made any sense when I was a kid. Glad to know after all these years that the movie actually doesn't make any sense
i 💚💚💚 Halloweentown! that was one of my childhood favourites, along with Hocus Pocus! I think i was 5 or 6 when the first one came out and just like Hocus Pocus, i don’t think i have gone one Halloween without watching 1-3
I've always thought granny was a little off too.. lol and this movie freaked me out as a kid and I was watching shit like signs and the exorcist and those movies didn't bother me
The Halloweentown movies are wild. I am saying this as an adult who loved the movies as a teen and realizes now they are so silly. That being said I 100% want to go to Halloweentown in Oregon and I am upset I didn't when I lived there.
I still love Halloweentown still it was my favorite movie when I was little and I still love it to this day and I know he's not trying to change that but even if he was he couldn't
I’ve recently come to realize that Marnie is a near carbon copy of Addison from the Zombies movies in that both constantly whine about something they want, both insert themselves into situations that don’t involve them or is even their own concern, and both ignore the girl (Sophie and Eliza) that genuinely wants to help others that is often pushed aside and not taken seriously and is constantly ignored.
the one time i watched this movie i was at the football field with friends for a school event and i don't remember much of the movie and you also couldn't hear the audio so that made it weirder and 90% of the time my friends were having pillow fights (one of the pillows being a hatsune miku body pillow) and yet the plot is somehow weirder than i remember?
I loved all the Halloween town movies lol I still like them but mostly for nostalgia….. I can understand they aren’t great movies though but I do have to say I don’t think they were supposed to be a masterpiece
The movie was filmed in Oregon, and we actually go every year to Halloweentown!! It’s pretty cool 😂 you get to meet the characters too!! Except the grandma of course cause she passed away a while ago.
What?!?! I've been wanting to experience a place like this my entire life! I had no idea it was a real destination 😭
@@thegoldthatglitters it’s 110% real!! Check it out sometime🙂 also the place where the goonies was filmed is about an hour away from it!!
Hi fellow Oregonian 💚🌲
Really?! That’s way cool! They left the sets up and stuff? Is it a permanent thing, or like a festival type thing? Sorry I’m just so curious! 😃

Halloweentown was my favourite movie series as a child. This show is a part of my soul and it’s not going anywhere
Halloween Town High was my favorite

i love every one of the halloweentown movies, i watch them everyyear thankd

@@tessajohnson8351 REALLY!???
I loved this movie when I was younger but I didn’t care about the plot I just thought it had a cool aesthetic
Same
I loved this movie as a kid and I still do like them. Love Debbie as the grandma. She’s hilarious.
It's filmed very smoothly.
This movie seemed so much better when I was a kid. Also side note I really like your set up with the mirrors and paintings in the background
i thought i hallucinated this movie
Same
there's three more of them too
The fact that the actress who plays marnie married the guy who played calibars son from the second movie is just iconic
Wait what that's so cuteee

Honestly it would be fun if you did the other 2 Halloweentown movies!
3* there's 4 Halloweentown movies total
I only knew about the first two 😭😭
there’s more after the second one????
Yeeeah I pretend that anything after the 2nd one don't exists...

moving to portland next month and genuinely i am so excited for this LMFAO I already have my Halloween costume planned
@@sarvolkskaya its genuinely so much fun, I'll only have one more year to go because of college but its such a blast
i would watch a full length version of u just explaining the plot of movies rather than the actual movie
Dylan the whole movie: bffr, none of this is real- oh shit ok? Maybe
I watched this movie in school the other day after the other people in my class started bragging about it, I felt like I was drugged the entire time
What I like about watching Cooper is that it genuinely just feels like watching some funny guy ranting about this movie he saw.
How readily I accepted this movie for everything it was back then lol
My mom relentlessly forced me to watch this movie. Honestly this video was 500% more entertaining than the movie itself.
I watched halloweentown every halloween for like 10 years straight
the second one was the best
As a child I refused to spend Halloween without Halloween town
This will still always be my favorite movie for Halloween 😭🙏🏻
I love the fact that Marnie didn’t have magic the entire time. She had main character syndrome but 😂 it was her siblings who had the magic
I remember watching this as a kid and thinking her being 13 was so old I was like wtf ur telling me she can't go out??? Um She's thirteen?? Lmao i literally had no idea and I used to think Ariel was an adult so- lmao
As weird as it is looking at it 10 years later, it's still one of my favorite movies from when i was a kid, it makes no sense but i still love it
I was a grown-up and I loved it! My kids did too. I think they made part 2 and maybe even a part 3.

Criminal 💀
Damn 💀
I m having it now lol
ME TOO
This gave me grave feelings of nostalgia
Halloweentown is a tradition in my family we watch it every year 😂
That Reading Rainbow clip keeps making me want to listen to Trip Like I Do...
The fact that he’s roasting Halloweentown really shows his age and as someone who grew up on Halloweentown I am so sad right now😢
It's the Magic School Bus... Not reading rainbow bus lol reading rainbow was the company, I think

It would be rlly cool if u could do hocus pocus bc that movie is lowkey hysterical.
