Hi, I’m Krista! I make math courses to keep you from banging your head against the wall. ;)
Math class was always so frustrating for me. I’d go to a class, spend hours on homework, and three days later have an “Ah-ha!” moment about how the problems worked that could have slashed my homework time in half. I’d think, “WHY didn’t my teacher just tell me this in the first place?!”
So I started tutoring to keep other people out of the same aggravating, time-sucking cycle. Since then, I’ve recorded tons of videos and written out cheat-sheet style notes and formula sheets to help every math student-from basic middle school classes to advanced college calculus-figure out what’s going on, understand the important concepts, and pass their classes, once and for all. This is all your big derivative rules, so Unit 2 is super important! #productrule #quotientrule 💪
Never have I ever seen a math youtuber explain concepts so clearly with just the right amount of detail. As a high school student trying to get ahead in AP Calc BC this is a gold mine.
I'm so glad I can help, coast!
pov: you're cramming for the exam
I have a unit quiz this week and I know absolutely nothing about derivatives 😭😭
No definitely not 😳🤚
One year later and you're still absolutely right
pov: ur comment gets 69 likes
Pov your teen is asking for help with homework
fun fact: i bought your course from udemy to get me through calc 1 and now I’m a business analyst! thank you for having an impact on my life!
Oh my gosh, awesome!! Thank you so much for letting me know, William, that makes my day! And congratulations on working your way through math and starting your career as a business analyst... that's such a great field right now, so you've got a great future ahead of you! 👏👏
to all those wondering, I never paid attention to my class, I had 0 calc knowledge before watching these videos. I used to fail every test but I had this gut feeling to show my teacher that I am capable so in 2 weeks, I watched her calc videos from chapter 1-8 and watched similar videos, by 2 weeks I PASSED AP CALC WITH 3. maybe some wants 4/5 but remember I had 0 prior knowledge but still Krista helped me passed AP CALC. Trust her teaching.
Congrats, selena! I'm so glad I was able to help! :)
im 6 months late but im in this exact same situation is watching the videos all u did or study the book and other resources
This is the most clean, neat, and easy-to-understand explanation I have ever seen of calculus. Seriously, thank you so much!
Why doesn't this have more views?! Really well made. Thank you for the review!
You're welcome, Frantic, I'm so glad it helped! :D
Thank you so much for these! I am returning to school for an MS/PhD program in applied mathematics and these are perfect refreshers for a placement test.
Welcome back! Where ya have been? Missed your vids alot Krista. I’m done with my math courses two years ago. You’re one of the UA-camrs out there who helped me understand mathematics ☺️
Yay! Thank you! I'm so glad I was able to help, and I'm happy to be back! And congrats on finishing up all your math courses, that's awesome!! :D
Welcome back to UA-cam
thanks to your videos i survived university (graduating this month) and made my life so much easier so, thank you :)
That's awesome!! Congratulations on graduating!!!! 💪💪
It's really nice Ma'am that you get exactly to the point. I have understood everything in just 37 minutes! Otherwise, I would have had to watch so many videos.
I'm so glad it helped, Aniruddha!
She bacc
She teach calc
1.75 speed is a blessing. you can still understand and it go zoom
Appreciate it! taking this in highschool and have a final tomorrow and this is really helpful!
Thank you so much for your help!! Great video!! This helped me out a lot!
Excellent video lecture.
Thank you so much. I download all these units 1,2 and others if there are, for my students engineers. They need to study calculus carefully.
You're the Best, Krista.
Welcome back! I watched your videos like 8 years ago in high school
Thank you so much! Crazy to think it's been that long! 😂
You are the best Krista!!!
26:31 What about how derivative of a^u = (a^u)(lna)( u' ) or how derivative of log base b of a = (1/a)(1/lnb)( a' )?
been a while always appreciate the videos :)
Your videos made it so I barely had to go to class, so many years ago. I am going to do this course :D fun
Lol, nice! I hope you do take the AP course, I think you'll really enjoy it! :)
Back to the form, thx for sharing your valuable knowledge with us.😍🙌
My pleasure!!
oh wow!! you are back!!
Very useful lecture thnaks
Greetings and blessings from San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima, Perú.
Note to self:
Reviewing 2.2 and memorize formulas
2.7 is great to write down for notes
36:13 I feel like that's actually quite a bit of work but it's nice seeing the proofs for these. As for remembering them, I remember that the derivatives of secx & tanx, respectively, are secxtanx & sec^2(x). So for cscx & cotx, It is simply their "negative & co-versions" Ya see? While for secx, it's secxtanx; for cscx it's NEGATIVE COsecantx*COtangentx, simply -cscxcotx. Then just like how tanx has sec^2(x), cotx has -csc^2(x)
Thank you My favorite mam
Thank you 💗💗
Thank you so much Ma'am! 🙏🙏
My pleasure, Aniruddha! 😊
Long time no see you Krista .. Thank you so much for sharing about mathematics
You are so welcome, thanks for saying hi!
Which unit is integration by parts and integration through trig substitution
Excellent video! What software are you using for the whiteboarding? I teach data science so I'm always looking for a good whiteboarding application.
It's called Sketchbook, by Autodesk. I've used it forever and it works really well! :)
watching this at 10:25 pm before my exam tomorrow 😬
